Hi all... first-time poster here! Yeah!

Ummm... good to see that this B. Lesnar guy made his debut this evening on RAW is RAW. I've heard he's a great hand. Additionally, it will be nice to not have people make house show reports and tell us that he's "HUGE."

Now if he can just see Ron Waterman so we don't have to read that he looks like Goldberg and/or Scott Steiner.

By the way, I didn't watch RAW. Is Lesnar big?

When Waterman finally shows up on TV, you'll see that he looks like Scott Steiner's twin. It's scary

You know how Benoit looks like his shoulders are waaaay too big for his head, and he's almost a hunchback? Lesnar's like that except he's much, much bigger. And yet his head is about the same size as Benoit's. It's freaky.

I thought Lesnar looked impressive, but I felt a little sorry for Spike. Are they going to introduce every new hire by having them beat the piss out of Spike?

I was wondering what Heyman had been up to as well.

They fumbled Lesnar's TV debut big-time, and I'll tell you why. They made him out to look like a monster, but at the same time, dumber than the dirt on the bottom of my shoe.

Why? Because he'd just destroyed everyone in the ring. Maven. Al Snow. Spike. So explain to me why in the magenta hell he didn't just pin Maven to win the Hardcore Title? Don't tell me the WWF has forgotten about the 24/7 rule, because I watched WrestleMania and I know better-- the title changed hands five times. For the love of La Parka, somebody please tell me who the idiot in the back writing this crap is.

Maybe Brock's character is supposed to be a killing machine and titles(especially the lowly Hardcore Championship) mean little to him at this point. Maybe he is doing what Paul E. Dangerously is telling him, just destroy everything in sight to make an impact. He is an animal though, his traps are as big as his biceps. Somewhere on another thread it is mentioned that he does a shooting star press. That sounds just plain scary.

I wonder how Jim Cornette really feels about one of his trainees being paired with Heyman. I mean, I'm sure Corny is happy the guy is finally on WWF TV, but doesn't he dislike Heyman immensely? I'm sure I'm making something out of nothing, but was just wondering . . .

That was the same thing I was thinking. He could of won the title easy. The belt has been passed around so much that it's pretty much a joke now.

They missed a chance to make the belt more credible cuz Lesnar looks like he can kick ass 24/7.

The only thing I can come up with is that he is looking to make more of an impact than ruling the H-C division, who knows what Heyman is telling him.

Eventhen, his debut could of been better, like at Wrestlemania for instance. At least he's out there now,I've heard so much about the guy, he buile like a huge ass Chris Benoit...ENORMOUS.

OK, Jobberman, granted. Let's say for the sake of argument that Lesnar is simply interested in destroying everyone in sight. But still, wouldn't he have made an even bigger impact, in his WWF debut, to have him pin Maven in kind of an afterthought? Hell... he could have simply put his foot on Maven in a sort of Chris Jericho “come on, baby” pin, and that would have been sufficient. It also would've put over just how much of an asskicking Maven had to absorb.

But nooooo. Can't very well have Lesnar win the Hardcore Title in his first WWF television appearance, huh? C'mon, you gotta admit that would've gotten people talking even more. “Holy shit, this huge, and I mean huge, dude I've never seen before just came out of nowhere and beat the living hell out of three guys, and walked out with the Hardcore Title!”

Lesnar is huge and looks like a monster. I can't wait to see Lesnar-Angle. That should be a great match when it happens.

It was beautiful to see Paul E. back managing again. Let's hope he starts up a stable of goons.

The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

No offense intended, but it feels like you're really, REALLY reaching for stuff to complain about right now.
The guy came out of nowhere, impressively pulped 3 people, and brought Heyman back to t.v., which is something most of the internet has been wanting ever since the end of the InVasion. And you're complaining because he didn't try to win the least important title in the WWF?
Ever think that maybe they have more important things in mind for a muscled up monster that can do a shooting star press other than hitting people with trashcan lids?
Then again, winning the Hardcore title upon his debut did wonders for Mike Awesome...

I totally agree. For once the "idea-men" behind the scenes did soemthing right when bringing a new person in. I do think they should have waited for the split but that's nothing to complain about really.

Lesnar's appearance was done totally old-school with him just appearing and destroying a bunch of people without saying a word. It also helps that he will have a manager to talk for him, something completely underutilized right now. I think by doing it this way, when he does go after one specific person it will be more desired by the fans to be seen.

And as for the Hardcore Title... uh... They've ruined enough guys by putting that joke of a Title on them, ruining somebody with the potential Lesnar has would've been the worst thing to do.

How many people really know who he is? JR could have at least mentioned he was A NCAA Nationl Champion from Minnesota. It's not like he has been spoken of at all on Heat or Excess to give the average fan an inkling of him. "The Hottest Free Agent in Wrestling."
Even the diehard tv watchers think that's Goldberg or Jeff Jarrett. You have to be online or a dedicated follower of amateur wrestling/sports to even remember the guy as his tournament win was like 2 years ago. Given all that, he is impressive and I have been waiting to see him since I saw him win the National Title. It's about time someone came up from the farm. In fact, I was just thinking recently how guys like Lesnar and Prototype feel about Maven getting the instant TV exposure and status while they have been toiling in OVW/HWA.

Oh, it's damn true. Lesnar is an agile mo-fo. When I saw him live at the Raw in Oklahoma City a couple of months ago, he jumped from the mat to the top turnbuckle and spun in mid-air, just like RVD.
Yeah, you bet your sweet bippy he's agile. We haven't seen half of his capabilities. I bet his shooting star is great.
He looked like some kind of ape when he smashed Spike over and over with that weird move. I'd like to see him do that to the Hurricane.
BTW, I think it freakin' rocks that he didn't care about the Hardcore belt. Screw the Hardcore belt...he just beat the crap out of most of the Hardcore division single-handedly.

I missed Raw last night, but from what I hear this Brock Lesnar is a real badass. Glad to see Paul Heyman back to take the role of Lesnar's mouthpiece. The role of the heel manager has faded away with time, but I'd love to see that element brought back as a mainstay. Managers are needed for those wrestlers whose promos about as exciting as a dentist convention (Test, I'm talking to you). Shane McMahon would also be good in a managerial role, as he proved in his role as Benoit's manager.

Yes, I agree, having him come out there, kick three guy's asses, and just stand there over the carcass of the Hardcore Champion just ruled. I mean, they could still put him in the HC title scene, with Heyman saying something like "Maven, Brock came out there and kicked your ass, but you've still got the belt. Well, now I'm making the challenge official! Now you'll be able to see him coming, and you'll STILL get your ass kicked!"

Lesnar is freaky looking.

OK, all right, point well taken. The Hardcore Title doesn't mean jack shit, I agree. Even so, it just irks me a little that he didn't even try to win it. I mean, there were three other guys out there going after the belt, and he just shit-kicked all of them? For what reason? He just about killed Spike Dudley, so what? Spike Dudley gets killed every week.

If someone was gonna get their asses kicked by Lesnar, why not beat up somebody who doesn't get beaten up frequently? Destroying Spike Dudley, Maven and Al Snow really isn't that much of an accomplishment, when you consider that all three of them, to some extent, are bump-taking machines.

Now, if he'd beaten up Stephanie like that... dudes, I'd be singing his praises until the day I die. WHOO!

I haven't seen Raw yet, but Lesnar sounds awesome. If nothing else, it just sounds good that a guy is debuting who we don't really know much about/haven't seen much. I can't remember the last time a debut wasn't of someone who had been in a major promotion before, someone who really was a shocking and new debut. Was the last guy Angle? I'm really looking forwards to seeing him.

It's nice to see we can still get excited about a new guy, anyway! .

The really cool thing about Lesnar's appearance is he had a manager.... say it aloud, a "MANAGER". When's the last time anyone in the WWF has had a manager.
