Lance Storm has updated his online commentary. In it, he says the following regarding Brock Lesnar:
"I would have wanted him to stay, but after really leaving us high and dry like he did, not really. He received a tremendous push and had a ton of guys work hard to get him there and then just walked out. I wish him luck in the future, but would resent it if he came back and received another push."
Guess his feelings are understandable, for obvious reasons.
Lance Storm's punches suck and his offense is weak looking. Who cares what he thinks. Go live in the Indy upper-midcard and feud with Chris Candino in front of 75 people at the middle school gymnasium. You're lucky the WWE has paid your whiney ass for this long.
???? Lance Storm is great. He is a great wrestler and can cut some ok promos when given a chance. And since when does he have a "whiney ass"? He complains about one guy and he si a "whiney ass"? Dude whatever.

I won't get in a tit for tat with you about Storm's wrestling and mic skills, because we are obviously on two different ends of the spectrum. However, I can't believe the WWE hasn't pulled the plug on this guy. Sure, a lot of people on the 'net dig him because he gets all 'smarky' with us and 'keeps it real, but like it or not the WWE still has a lot of money invested in Brock and I'm sure they don't need any help smearing him especially from some lower-midcard jobber who is lucky if he winds up on Heat. That's what the have "Confidential" for .
Cry me a river over Storm speaking his mind. How would you feel if some guy at work was a pet of the boss, was given promotions, raises, etc. up the wazoo while you toiled in your cubicle, and then sat back and watched Golden Boy walk off the job? You'd definitely resent it if this guy just came back one day and nothing was different.
Well, I hate it to break it to Lance Storm, as much as I like him. But WWE hasn't recently given me any sign that they're interested in pushing Storm much higher than Sunday Night Heat main-eventer. And if Brock ever does return, you bet your ass he'll be given the same push that he was given before. It's not fair, given Storm's better wrestling ability, greater experience and better promo-cutting. But it's reality.

The thing is, would Brock coming back be good for business? Because ultimately, that's what it comes to at the end of the day. Brock was pushed to the moon for his size and ability. Vince saw Brock as a future franchise player who put asses in the seats. That's why Hogan was loved by a lot of other guys -- say what you will about his politics, but if he appeared on the card then you could bet that your paycheck for that night was going to be much higher than if you didn't have him there. Lance Storm is many things, but unfortunately he's never been the draw that Brock was. So if Brock comes back and ratings go up, then Lance should at least appreciate that his paycheck is due at least in part due to Brock.
I like Lance, but he's never shown me that he belongs in the tier of guys as some people assume. I can't recall any match with him going back to SMW, and saying wow, he belongs up there with Benoit or HBK. He is an above average worker, but he just don't have 'it'. Then we got Bradshaw.
Besides, his character is so damaged and tainted, you could put him on sale at Value City.

I love, love, love Brock, and I'd welcome him back w/ open arms if/when he returns. That being said, he really wasn't a draw (although, nobody was really drawing).
Hey Storm just has to hang on in Raw matches jobbing to the likes of Triple H, Kane and Goldberg (if he's ever back) and then 5 or 6 years down the line he'll get the "What the Hell he's a veteran" push. It worked for Hardcore Holly and Bradhsaw and I'm sure Billy Gunn will get another go soon.
Lance needs a mask. He wouldn't have to talk, and he might get over if people didn't know who he was (until he unmasked, obviously) and he got into a program with someone pretty high up on the ladder. Possibly.

I'm a big fan of Lance. Lance needs a name for his fans. Test had the Testicles. Edge had the Edge-heads. The Rock had the millions, AND MILLIONS....
What do we Lance Storm fans call ourselves? And don't say 'smakrs'. I'm not looking for smartass remarks here.
Stormchasers? Hmmm....
Hmmmm....I have never met a fan of Test. Does that mean he has no Testicles?
Lance Storm is a very decent wrestler, but I don't believe he will ever have charisma on the mic in his current form. Give him something outrageous and he may pull something off. Look at Dustin Runnels and the difference between his 'Lonestar' gimmick and Goldust.

You know what...that's a pretty damn good idea. He's a good worker...give him a mask and some weird uniform and a good manager to talk for him. Of course, I don't know if that type of character can get out of the mid-card without being Kane-sized. And the mid-card is where he is already.

You mean like doing the cabbage patch and having everyone in sight refer to his giant penis?
Storm has twice the in-ring ability, promo ability and workrate of Lesnar. I would imagine Storm and the majority of his fans realise that it will take something pretty drastic for him to make the mid-card on Raw. However, give the guy something to care about, get him angry (I dunno, have him come out and lose every week until he snaps and gets all Bob Backlund or something)and I think he has the ability to get over. Certainly as over as Christian. Lets face it, as deserving as Benoit and Eddie are in terms of paying their dues, their in-ring work is no better than Storm's, and Benoit couldn't cut a promo to save his fucking life.
I hope to see TNA recover from last week's horrible showing. Also, my cellphone's battery is down, so no wrestling counter. I'll read some respectable reviews and give you times when those are up. EDIT: All credit to Jason Powell of prowrestling.
