What about Pete Puma? He has one episode with Bugs, is totally over with his stupidity, and Bugs goes over at the end. Bugs holds him down and he never gets a second shot.

So Bugs is definitely HHH.

There is one huge problem with the Bugs is Triple H argument: Unlike Trip, Bugs drew money. And lots of it. That would make Bugs more along the lines of Hogan in the 80's, as its generally his pals that keep getting pushed, but at least he makes people money so its not worth complaining about him since he's covering the mortgage payment.

Why is TVLand stealing my ideas from DEAN's Workrate Report's? They had to be stealing, as I thought I had the only demented mind that could put Bea Arthur and Abe Vigoda in a sex scene.

DR: Bugs Bunny is Ray The Crippler Stevens. Old school orignator and bumptaker with the grit to make it real and the flashiness to wow the rubes.

I always liked Yosemite Sam as Bugs' new feuding partner after they shelved Elmer, and he was surprisingly durable - he could match Bugs move for move, joke for joke, and in the end put Bugs over as a champion who earned that hard-fought victory. So while he doesn't have the multiple titles of his real-life counterpart; to me, Yosemite Sam = Ric Flair.

DR: I always thought Yosemite Sam was Diamond Dallas Page. I decent enough jabrone that somehow got enough pull to have super-workers (Bugs as Benoit) to carry him and get him over.

Yeah, Sam had friends in the back. The whole reason he was brought in was because some of the bookers didn't think that Fudd was in Bugs' league any more. He covered up his pedestrian talents with a couple of catchphrases and bumped around until people started enjoying it.

It's a damn shame what they did to Fudd. I'm amazed he never jumped ship to Disney, but he never would've broken Mickey's glass ceiling...

I'd consider Disney more along the lines of the AWA: as its the same guys on top for a few generations but the fans are used to it and accept it and occassionally look to see if they are still around. Plus, the AWA had ESPN and Las Vegas, while Disney had the amusement park. Yet, Warner Bros. without the amusement park did better than Disney (cartoon wise), while the WWF or Crockett did better than the AWA despite the supposed built in advantage of having the ESPN presence. Plus, Herb's not frozen, and I can't say the same about Verne.

DR: I will concede Disney As AWA. That would make Sylvester's annoying nephew/son the Disney Greg Gagne. And the Disney version Milkman Milligan would be....

Actually, I'd take Sleepy of Seven Dwarves fame as Greg Gagne, as damn it, he put everyone to sleep.
As for the Milkman, I'll go off the beaten path a bit and say Jerry's little nephew mouse that used to follow him around on Tom and Jerry would be the Milkman. I think he once had a turkey on a Thanksgiving episode.
And of course Paul Jones is Top Cat.

I thought Foghorn was a face too, Foghorn was indeed the first cool heel that I cheered him thinking he was a face. Now thinking back he did have alot of heel tendencies so maybe he was heel? Then again that barnyard dog was such a bore, with Kidman charisma. I mean how MANY babyface dogs do you need? The L.Tunes were drawing up dogs as quickly as OVW is throwing out short-haired chiseled dudes... I'd say Foghorn = HHH, the guy has talent no doubt. But he did surrounded himself with weak characters to make sure no one really outshines him during the show. And his physical stature is much for his advantage, management loves that so they can offshoot that with guys in costumes. But give credit to Foghorn the good stuff that did happen it's usually him carrying it.

Sheepdog always rubbed me the wrong way, talk about a total no seller. Again once again another dog and a total hoss. He no sells everything physically or emotion. Majority of the time you don't even see him move to stop Wile E/Ralph. Sheepdog just kind of appears and squashes after Ralph does all the work. Sheepdog is no doubt your big lazy wrestler with bad workrate... Maybe I'm still holding a grudge because of the incident, YOU know what I'm talking about. The Punchcard stunt they pulled. That shows total lack of respect for the industry. Your character are suppose to be feuding and you pull the curtain back to show it's a work. It goes right with the MSG/Kliq farewell incident. Hmmm Kliq? would that make Sheepdog = Nash and Ralph = HBK for his willingness to take bumps not really for HBK putting over ratio LoL

One dog that really stepped out and made himself unique and memorable is Marc Antony. His stuff with Kitty was gold! They had this amazing chemistry, you could just feel it coming out of the screen. Just the emotion from Antony when he thought his beloved Kitty was made into a gingerbread cat just an amazing piece of acting. And all his friends and family not allowing him to bring anything to the house and he has to hide his friend, just solid stuff that you don't usually see in the L.Tunes... But much like their wrestling equivalent of Jericho and Trish they didn't really give it the time and the respect it deserved. I really enjoyed it while it lasted and I sit back thinking what could have been. I guess Antony will go back and be like every other babyface dog.

Some quick ones, Bugs Bunny has to be the Rock. The main player, can work pretty much with eveyrone, sometimes comes off a little brash and rubs people the wrong way, but he's do darn taletned people just get drawn back to him. Plus he's had so much main stream success that the other Tunes can't match... Roadrunner = RVD. Not very talkative, not very charismatic but has amazing skills. He's as quick as a hiccup and his athletic performance is what gets him over. Add to that his educated beak. One draw back is that he's got a bit of a problem jonesing for seeds but he seems to have it under control. But I guess everything is cool when your *points to self (or is it click heels)* "MEEP MEEP".

Where does Pepe Le Pue fit? I'm sure some will make the french connection & say Dupree, but I think Dupree is still too young to be given such an honor as a Tune character. My guess would be Test. Pepe is just annoying. Is he a face? a heel? Being a forigner there no way he can ever be considered top face. He just wants to go out and think he's gods gift to women and wanting some tail as all the girls run away from him, but he does seem to have his heart in the right place. Pepe a hard one, Test is the most I can come up with. Or maybe Lawler?... AngryJohn, I can't believe the luv you gave Porky Pig. I just view him as a hangeroner, who has his spot because he's a company guy and has senority. But not really loyal to anyone, kind of a wuss, I think Porky = Jim Ross

Pepe was the motherfucking madnotes. He always being the one carrying his cartoon. The female cat? The settings? It didn't matter. You watched for Pepe. You knew no matter what the cat did, how she tried to oversell anything that was happening, Mr. Le Pue would saunter into the screen a few seconds later and perform a move that would draw you in, or say one of his trademarked phrases that would have you pop big time. His timing was impecable and his moves were crisp.

To me, Pepe Le Pue was and is one of the most charismatic toons ever to prance across the screen.

Foghorn was 100% heel btw. The dog however was Bob Holly, a not so quite over face so you cheered for the heel.

Bugs is Austin, heelish behavior, but you love him for it.
Plus he had the starpower to carry the whole damn promotion.

Heh, fair enough. There were a lot of great YS moments: sharing his house with Bugs' abode, "The Hessian with no oppression", and trying to keep Bugs out of The South, with that episode ending with him keeping the Yankees at bay in their dugout in Chattanooga.

I guess this is where I insert the "FEEL..THE..BANG!" punchline? ;)

I would disagree on Porky=Benoit...actually, this one's a little obvious. But then again keep in mind I didn't think Porky Pig brought as much to the table as other LT characters.

Indecipherable voice with vocal style which is object to ridicule....usually plays lead in show and closes out the show (just like a BOOKERMAN would, if you will) for unexplainable reasons except possibly that he put himself there...teams up with characters more over than he is in order to siphon off heat and put himself over most of the bigger names in the company although displaying a minimus of skill and instead using his presence and catchphrase.

Of course the scenario theory ends when you can't figure out if that makes Daffy Magnum T.A. or Nikita Koloff, but it was a fun ride while it lasted.
