I felt inspired to start this thread up as a backlash to the 'Best WCW PPV Ever' one. After all one of the characteristics of WCW was it's ability to put out some dreadful PPV's, especially towards the end.
Personally after just having watched Souled Out 99 I'd have to go with that. The disastourous last minute problems (World champ Bret Hart sidelined, US Champ Jarrett sidelined, Guerrero, Saturn, Malenko and Benoit wanting to leave at the last minute) made this a terribly booked and poorly executed card.
The Kidman v Malenko bout is a bad joke thanks to the decision to not let the match continue (if you watch it you'll see what I mean)
Madusa vs the approximately 280lb Oklahoma for the Cruiserweight title is a farce.
Only Benoits world title win deserves any praise- carrying Sid to a passable bout.
Can anyone beat that? I'm sure there is sadly worse.
Actually, the Souled Out with the Benoit title win was in 2000. 1999's installment wasn't much better though. SO2000 was considerably better than the Superbrawl and Uncensored that followed it, imo. After the Radicalz jumped to the WWF, there just didn't seem to be anyone in WCW who could put on a consistently solid, entertaining match.
Wasn't 1999 Souled Out supposed to be the 1st nWo PPV? If it's the one I'm thinking of with Bischoff hosting the "Miss nWo" pageant with the biker chicks, that was the worst one I think I'd ever seen from WCW.

So NXT rolled through my crappy home town on the last night of their UK tour and I managed to snap up a couple of tickets. I'd put the crowd at about 3,500 or so.
