One thing i would like some people to note or to explain i was on the wwe website and Brock lesner has been taken off the superstars page and Goldberg is still on the raw page????
I still half-think (hope?) that Goldberg will be kept around in a Rock-like situation where he makes some kind of return once or twice a year. Or at least, they've probably kept the door open to that.
If he's really gone for good, I have a feeling they'll have to communicate that....

As far as I know the "WE WISH [x] THE BEST" MESSAGE OF DEATH, which is the WWE's equivelent of a fish wrapped in a bulletproof vest has not been run for Goldberg yet whereas it has been for Brock.

If they try that, I think the fans will roundly turn on Goldberg, moreso than the Rock. They've already shown a tendency to do this (Bad Blood stands out).

It would be silly to remove Goldberg from the roster when they still have the opportunity to renew his contract. The only reason he was leaving in the first place was that Vince wouldn't give the money he wanted. Now that Brock has left it leaves more financial room should they want to retain Goldberg. Of course they'd have to learn how to book him properly if they want to become as popular as in the WCW days. He should also go back to being just "Goldberg" instead of being "Bill Goldberg", Bill isn't very intimidating.

Not disagreeing with you at all, though there's the perfect chance to turn him heel. I just say, keep the guy if you can, even if it's on an ocassional basis.

What about Bill Romanowski, Bill Laimbeer, Bill Cartwright? Oh wait, there's also Bill Clinton, Bill Cosby, Bill Maher, Bill (oops) Buckner..ah hell you're right!
Who's judging American Idol? Paula Abdul? Paula Abdul judging a singing contest is like Christopher Reeve judging a dance contest!
Do you not think that this could be a really shocking storyline? Brock leaving? i mean i know he stated that hje was trying the NFL, but i reckon we'll see him at next years wrestlemania, wrestlemania XXI.

Well yeah, but not so much for some storyline as his NFL career tanking really fast.

Or get a time machine and go back to 1998. Goldberg drew for six months because of something that can't be recreated, I think it's time to let it go.

I know JR and some others had a tendency to say "Bill" here and there on TV, but as far as all "official" stuff goes, he was always just listed as Goldberg.
Neither Goldberg or Brock have been mentioned on WWE TV. They showed the Wrestlemania video packages with highlights of the event but thats the only reference you see of them on TV.

Didn't Heyman say Brock had left Smackdown and the WWE last night?
