According to 411 (who credit PWInsider), WWE will be releasing a Chris Benoit DVD on 7/19. What matches do you think should be on this DVD? One main match I think should be on there would be Benoit's first WWF "debut" when he was brought in at a WWF Superstars taping as the newest member of The Million Dollar Man's Corporation, but add that as an extra. Other matches and events that should be covered:
The Best of 7 matches with Booker T, of course His match with Sid where he won the WCW title His run with the Horsemen Bash At The Beach against Kevin Sullivan His first WWF match after jumping with the Radicalz against HHH His matches with The Rock where he "won" the WWF title Any match at all against Kurt Angle His match against Stone Cold with the 10 (?) consecutive German suplexes on Smackdown Winning the tag titles from the Two Man Power Trip TLC 4 for the tag titles
Well, since they own the ECW stuff too, including his match against Al Snow in Feb. 1995 wouldn't hurt. Throwing in the angle where he broke Sabu's neck would be a fine addition too.
There's also the Jericho series (the SummerSlam 2000 and Royal Rumble 2001 matches would suffice nicely). Probably the type of DVD that you might as well throw in the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania wins this year too.

I'm probably mistaken, but aren't these two the same match? Those 10 germans are definately one of my favorite Benoit moments in any case.
I also think a video montage of all the various ways Benoit has trapped opponents in the Crossface would be pretty cool. Either from Benoit setting it up himself, to him doing quick counters out of different moves, and him blocking attempts to get out of it. End it with the Crossface on HHH to win the belt. I would looove to see something like that made. It would get the move over even more than it already is.

The 10 Germans were on a SD from Canada where Benoit lost a 25 minute World Title match against Austin. As for additional matches: The Saturday Night Series against Guerrero where both debuted in WCW, and some Japanese stuff as well.

The Owen tribute match with Bret from Nitro in 1999.
You mentioned Angle matches... I think that WM17 and RR03 will be the two included in there, even though he lost both, he did a tremendous job in both.

If they have the Owen Hart tribute match on there, they should damn well show the match in its entirety, unlike WCW, who for some stupid reason took not one but two commercial breaks during it. (I may even be off-base on that, it might have even been three.) By all accounts it was an outstanding match... certainly the parts I saw were very good... but those commercial breaks just took me right out of the whole thing.
Regarding other matches that oughta be on it...
I know this is covered in the blanket “any Benoit/Angle match at all” statement, but how about the Benoit/Angle ultimate submission match from, I think, Backlash 2001?
How about the Eurocontinental Title matches against Angle and Jericho from WrestleMania 2000?
Showing Benoit and Malenko winning the WCW World Tag Team Title from Barry Windham and Curt Hennig at, I think it was Uncensored 1999 would be very nice too.
Or the cage match against Jeff Jarrett where he and Jimmy Snuka both went up to the top of the cage, Benoit hitting the Flying Headbutt and Snuka hitting the Superfly Splash.
Or the ladder match against Jarrett at Starrcade '99 for the U.S. Title.
And of course, they need to include, in its entirety, the Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XX.
As you can imagine (especially judging by my Benoit retrospective post earlier), ideas are flooding out of me, but I'll just leave it there for now.

It would be nice if they could get some of his matches from Stampede Wrestling. His early tag matches with Biff Wellington (I believe they also made an appearance at the Crockett Cup tournament one year), then into his Light Heavyweight matches, perhaps one against Dynamite Kid?
Are you ready for Mahkan-mania to run wild all over you?
How many discs will this one be? Will it be 2 or 3? Ya see for this, I'd like some of Benoit's great matches that were on television and not available on DVD/VHS.

Yea, but, they kinda, you know, need to show commercials, being that's how TV shows make money.

I think he means that 3 commercial breaks during one match is a bit excessive.

According to CRZ there were two ad breaks. Which isn't that unreasonable considering it was a 27 minute (including ads?) match.
this years rumble since he was in the match the entire time ala Flair in 92. They may not want to put this years rumble and mania main even t on won match but they shoudl. like benoits final road to the title.
also this should be 3 disks like flair as there is more then enough GREAT matches form all big three promotions to make it worth while. If done proporley this dvd coan kick ass and make mad sales.
Fuckin' rights, I already got half a fuckin' buzz on

my vote is for their "raven rules" uncensored ppv. some MAJOR mark out spots in there. i find it a little ironic that in a lot of the matches mentioned here benoit was the loser. i wonder how they're going to spin that positively, or if they should even try.
it says so right here in the wcw handbook!
what does it take to get a higher ranking around here? i already know what it takes to get a lower one! :-P
A parody song of Nickelback song by a not-so great singer sounds like double-whammy ... but I give this guy credit. Pretty entertaining. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcKihHK10FQ
