Based on numerous threads proclaiming their greatness, I bought, nuked and consumed a pair of the chicken fajita lean pockets. Unfortunately, they made me wanna puke. So, I now understand that Lean Pockets, much like circa 2001 Undertaker, are not for everyone.

At least some day maybe I'll understand why some day maybe you never can. Or something like that.

But a deal is a deal - 87 cents per pocket is mighty fine dining!

I dunno, those beef chunks don't look too appetising there, and sauce already in the pocket surely can't be a good thing.

Subway may be expensive by comparison but they do supply me with mighty fine lookin food.

Albertson's SoCal (Of the recent 4 month Union Dispute) had these on sale 3/6 and there was a buy 3 get one free coupon in the paper this week.

That's $.75 a pocket, which is a good deal -- but -- I think everyone was on to it, because there were (2) Cheeseburger and (3) Turkey and Ham or something when I got there.

I'm trying the CB, afraid of the turkey...

I just tried this for the first time yesterday and as far as diet sodas go, this is the best I've ever tasted.

The worst? Diet Mountain Dew.

I'm afraid to try that one (but I still buy the regular stuff) but I DO like the Diet Code Red.

Is "Tropical Flavored Sprite: The Remix" still out? That stuff was pretty good, kinda tasted like liquid carbonated Skittles.

My kids just love the Chicken Parmesan ones. Me, not so much. I like the meatballs and mozzarella.

Our Safeway here doesn't have the world's greatest bargin - at 2 for $4, it's a buck a pocket (HEY! Easy Math!)

Has anyone tried the new breakfast Lean Pockets yet (Bacon, Egg and Cheese and a Sausage, Egg and Cheese)? I got a coupon for them in my box of Chicken Parm yesterday and I could hear my stomach begging for mercy.

Phil

Yes - Sausage egg and cheese are awesome - so says my 8 year old!

Then again, I also like the regular ham and cheese, so take that recommendation with a block of salt.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of the the Sausage/Egg/Cheese. The Bacon/Egg/Cheese, not so much, but hey, your mileage may vary.

The breakfast portions are smaller than your average Hot/Lean pocket, however.
