I remember when he would wrestle each week. I really could care less who gets the title but it has to be better than him. If there are any WWE writers reading this, We like to see a champion who actually wrestles!!!! Also the Evolution gang up is really really old! I thought the old 4 Horseman thing was bad but this is even worse! Both RAW and Smackdown are so predicatable the only good thing about them is that I am catching up on my reading while the shows are on. Heck Velocity and Heat are even looking good lately.

That's heresy. Unless of course, Paul Roma or Steve McMichael are part of it. As for Trip not wrestling, its a Catch-22. Either he doesn't wrestle and you have to sit through a repetitive promo by him, or he wrestles a repetitive match and gives a repetitive promo. Thus, by not wrestling, only one form of dullness is presented, and it allows an unsuspecting mid-carder not to get sent further down the ranks.
Latest news out of Hollywood is that Sid Eudy was offered the role of Jesus in The Passion. Unfortunately, that fell through due to Sid's continued insistence that he be crucified under the title: King of the Squirrels.
I guess the sad part of it to me is that I remember when he did wrestle and he is talented. Good or bad he put on a great show in the ring. It's just not fun to watch anymore really when you automatically know that Evolution is going to jump in and beat on one or in tonights case 2 people. As funny as I thought the "This is your life" thing was I would have much rather seen HHH either defend his title or at least do something besides run his mouth and jump people.
I guess I am just too old and remember too far back when the story lines were at least somewhat believable.
It's funny because it's not even that we're all letting our personal bias against Triple H backstage affect our opinion of him in the ring. The fact of the matter is, he is absolutely boring. Any other wrestler at his level would be used right now in upper card matches to try to put over up and coming talent. Instead, the 'HHH is God' push continues.
Hey, not that I *want* to defend HHH, but he has been wrestling house shows against HBK & Benoit, so it's not like he's been kicking back all year. He just hasn't wrestled on Raw.

Not only that, but also singles matches against both of them during house shows since their whole issue began. Usually lasting about 30 minutes on average. I don't think HHH will have any problems at all at Wrestlemania, the reports on the Triple Threat practice matches have all been very very good.

The main problem with HHH is that they've written him into a rut that he seems (at least from what we see on-screen) to be quite happy to stay in.
Hunter can be entertaining and we all know that there's been times when he's pulled off good matches. Someone at WWE just needs to wise up and get him back to that status or more fans are going to start realizing that HHH is not really that interesting anymore. I'm not blaming HHH alone here, and I would be happy to see him get back into the swing of things instead of the plodding guy in a suit with the belt on his shoulder that can't even cut a quick, sharp promo anymore.
I mean, we already have Big Show to do that type of thing. ;-)

Hey its your opinion. Its gotta be fact right?
Uh wrong. He's still arguably the most over heel on RAW, and when he's been given someone decent to work with he's produced good to great matches (vs Flair, Booker, Michaels, Jericho). Heck he managed to pull decent matches out of Steiner and Nash, all be it at the second time of asking.
The reason that he hasn't been working on RAW is simply that theres no need for it. While Benoit needs a couple of squashes (a la Hardy last night) and strong showings against top contenders (Michaels, Evolution) to cement his place, there really would be very little to gain from having HHH do the same thing.
If they put him over an upper mid card guy (eg Jericho) people would be moaning about how he's holding down the roster, and a 2 minute squash of the Hurricane isn't gonna help either guy.
Tag matches against Michaels/Benoit would have been another possibility but with the logical tag partners for HHH heavily involved in a storyline they want him to have nothing to do with (HHH/Foley history would overshadow the current Orton/Foley feud) there aren't many you could logically throw into the mix as the 4th member. On top of which there's something nice about not seeing all 3 guys really going at it until the big day.
Like Spiff said, he's been working almost every house show lately putting on matches which have been getting very good reviews. Please don't state as fact that which is merely opinion.
The "it's just your opinion" argument is funny. What isn't opinion is that he's been doing the same thing, over and over, for a long time. Yes, somewhere out there are people who find him wildly entertaining, but these persons should be sterilized for the good of the human race. But that's my opinion. Which, in my opinion, is fact.
(edited by Hogan's My Dad on 9.3.04 0848) I'd tell you to kiss my ass, but I don't want to get it infected.

See also Rock, Austin, HBK etc. If anything HHH has changed more than most of the established main eventers with his shift from bad ass grrrr biker type to snazzy (if you like that sort of thing) dressing wide boy who believes himself to be better than he is.

Somewhere out there? You mean in 'the real world'? Scary. And hey, sterilization ain't so bad. Contraception's getting way to expensive these days
In my opinion Triple H hasnt had a great match since before he had an injury in 2001. One look at the guy tells you why. He's turned over the years into the incredible hulk with way too much muscle mass. Sure, it may look impressive but his frame just wasn't built for it (hence the injuries he picks up nearly every week). The guy really needs to 'pull the needle out' and lose some of that muscle if he wants to have a great match again.
The problem is HHH doesn't need to. We all know who is connections are and he knows that unlike most of the roster his position is never in any jeopardy- even if he never wrestles again- he'd still have some sort of world title.
