Now While I was watching RAW on Monday, it seemed like they were building up having these three going at it at WM20. I know Austin is going to be the ref, but like Vince said Austin is not a good ref so there is a possibility of this happening, just keep your fingers crossed, cause if they do do this, this is going to be one of the best, if not the BEST Wrestle Mania EVER!!!
Slim to none, and slim just reposessed an ATV and left town.
Although the way they're hyping this it's BROCK LESNAR vs bill goldberg with SPECIAL REFEREE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN.
Austin's been on TV too much this year NOT to have some sort of slot at Mania, and if he can't work a match (and I don't blame him for not wanting to, btw) what he's doing is fine.
I know what you mean, I know he doesnt want another match like he did with Scott hall at WM18. Thinking about it I wouldnt like to see him in th match because goldberg is sloppy in the ring and Austin could seriously get injured.

I think it's more that looking at Austin it doesn't seem like he's in ring shape. Also, he's only had one real match (I refuse to qualify that THING at NWO 2003 as a match) in the last 18+ months, so that can't help either.

I really don't think Austin wrestling will happen. He really doesn't seem ready for a match at this point plus this feud is really about Lesner and Goldberg and Austin just happens to be involved to me. Plus, it doesn't help that I am not a big Austin fan, so that would make it the total opposite of "the BEST Wrestle Mania EVER" but thats just me.
It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!
He's not going to wrestle, but they're trying to give the impression as much as possible that this is a three-way match. I'm sure that either Goldberg or Lesnar will get stunnered and beered by the end of the night.

This may be the closest we'll get to an Austin vs Goldberg match.
My hope is that Lesnar and Austin will be at it all match, then when Goldberg almost has Austin in the jackhammer, he gets a stunner as that payback Austin was talking about. F-5 and Lesnar has the pinfall. Goldberg confronts Austin about it, Austin offers to shake hands, calls for a beer. Goldberg accepts. Lesnar gets up, gets a stunner from Austin and a spear/jackhammer from Goldberg..fans pop, the two drink more beer.

Why on earth would Bill Goldberg be like, "Yeah, dude, okay, you just made me lose at Wrestlemania, but I get it - payback and all, DTA. That's cool, man. Let's drink beer." I mean, seriously.
Also, having Lesnar beat the going-out Goldberg only to look like a chump at the end at the expense of someone who's leaving and someone who can't wrestle and isn't even on the same show seems kind of counter-productive.
My hope is that they just have Lesnar beat him, since he should, and leave it at that.
