I bet that Vince uses MSG for WrestleMania XX. I think he'll go back to regular arenas next year. AstroDome sold out because wrestling was still popular enough to sell out a building that size. SkyDome only sold out because it is in Canada. My bet is probably the Staples Center for x-9
"We can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell them stories that don't go anywhere. Like that time I took the ferry over to Shelbyville; I needed a new heel for my shoe. So, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickle, and in those days, nickles had pictures of bumblebees on them. "Give me five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have any white onions, because of the war; the only thing you can get was those big yellow ones..." -Abe Simpson

I too think that Wrestlemania 20 will be at MSG and do believe that the only reason the Skydome sold out was cuz Canadians love wrestling more than Americans do (which is one of the reasons I love Canada) and X-Seven sold out because it was the end of the wrestling boom. As for Wrestlemania 2003 sites; Vince still could go for the dome so maybe the Louisanna Superdome or Tropicana dome in Tampa (which he considered before Canada lost the olympic bid) or probalby the Target Center.
How about the Edward Jones Dome (a.k.a. TWA dome) or better known as the home of the RAMS! Of course i dont know if they can sell out a venue that size. We do have smaller arenas here though.
If the weather in Chicago wasn't so horribly unpredictable I'd say one of the baseball stadiums here...I know the owner of the White Sox has always been involved with wrestling. And I have no doubt Chicago could fill a 50,000 seat venue for WM.
i wouldn't mind seeing it come to Chicago again... probably the United Center. i think Allstate Arena (former Rosemont Horizon) is too small for 'Mania these days...

If they use MSG for any Wrestlemania, it will probably be Wrestlemania 25. Just because it would be the silver anniversary of WM. What's the 20th? Wood? Milk? Lace? Just not as special.
Are there any large domes (besides the Metrodome) that aren't located in the South?
I mean the only places I can think of if they wanted to do a dome WM would be:
The Georgia Dome (Atlanta) The Superdome (New Orleans) The Alamodome (San Antonio)--if that will be around still.. Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg)
I'm actually for the idea of Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix. I mean if they can draw 30,000 for an outdoor basketball game, I'm sure the WWF could actually draw just as much if not more if they wanted to hold a Wrestlemania there.
Well, we won't know where WrestleMania X-9 will be untill WrestleMania X-8. (They usually say "Next Year WrestleMania will be at *enter arena here*)
But, I, too, amd hoping for either All-State Arena or United Center for X-9. But then, isn't everyone hopeing for next year's show to be in THEIR home town?

2 years ago Superdome officials promised 80,000 if they brought WM to N.O. We were promised WM sometime in the next 5 years and got to host the Royal Rumble. At the rate the WWF is going however it won't be long before Mania's hit the Bingo Halls unless they play New York City each year.
WrestleMania XIX: Los Angeles (Staples Center) or Las Vegas (Caesar's Palace) WrestleMania XX: MSG
