Apparently Jerry decided to give up some bank so the series could be released. Canadian news source, take it as you will, but good news in the least.

That's really interesting... I'd like to hear Seinfeld's side of things, because he really comes off as a prick in this article. Jason Alexander (at least here) seems like a pretty decent and intelligent guy. I'm completely on the side of Alexander though, probably even more so than he is. Elaine, Kramer, and George MADE that show. Seinfeld was just along for the ride...

To play devil's advocate, Seinfeld wasn't "just along for the ride". He helped create, write and was exec. producer (I think) of the show. Not to mention if it wasn't for him, there would be no show. I mean, it IS called "Seinfeld."

Doesn't give him the right to dick over the three co-stars that arguably turned the show from a good one into a GREAT one. Particularly Alexnader-how many classic George Costanza moments are there compared to Jerry's highlight reel?

I'm not defending him not giving royalties to the rest of the cast, I'm defending HIS position in reference to the quote that he was just "along for the ride."

I meant in terms of his character on the show. I well aware of what he did behind the scenes, but let's face it, that show was successful because of the on screen charaters. And Jerry was definitely the blandest of the four...

What's the big deal? According to the article all the petty problems were worked out and now the DVD's can get made already with all the regular cast in for supplementary materials and the like. That's the important thing, Seinfeld's finally coming out on DVD, no reason to argue over what's already resolved. Cryinger over spilt milk is one thing, but you don't need to cry over it once it's gone.

Didn't mean anything by it, I promise

Just meant that they were the only ones reporting it. Probably should have clarified that fact. But now I see a few other folks are talking about it.

For everyone in America, that's DiGornio's. The expensive, overly doughy stuff. I'm not really partial to a specific brand at this point, but I do remember as a kid getting like 20 of those Totino's Party Pizzas at a shopping session.
