Austin gave Goldberg a ticket to NWO. Goldberg helped cost Lesnar his belt. So, indirectly, Austin is responsible for Lesnar losing his belt.

I had one major problem with the Foley promo, where he said Evolution could take credit for causing him to be stretchered out for the first time. Umm, Mick, I know the brain cells are going fast, but I think you did a stretcher job at Center Stage when you faced Vader in '93. Unless, of course, the amnesia caused him not to remember.

That would mean the WWE actually looked past last week. And that in it's own, would be a miracle!

Well, caught it on the rebound after work (yes, I've been working nights lately). Truth is, as a slight old schooler, I'll be honest. The show was okay, but one I could live without. The Xian love test? Okay.... Big ups to Trish for that clothesline, ouch. I know she may never break out of that Barbie mold in the minds of some of you, but at this point I don't care about that anymore. You have my props once again, Trish.

Speaking of props, I'd also like to send some to Molly Holly and Victoria. First to Victoria for just being Victoria. And Molly, I just want to say that you were a great champion, and you are a true hidden treasure in the WWE. Rest assured if you were ever let go, I will cry a hundred rivers, cursing McMahon's name...

Mick Foley's interview was good. But I'm still (and eternally) maintaining my preference of Foley/Helmsley. It would be a pretty dumb move to have a match with the Playboy girls and not Victoria and Molly at WM. Haven't you guys learned from the Catfight Girls last year? Haven't you guys learned ANYTHING from last year?!

Finally, that whole McMahon-Bischoff thing. If it was the buildup to Wrestlemania 17, I'd be drooling non stop like the rest of you would. But, it's 2004, and I'm not. So ending another Raw, rather anticlimactically in my opinion. Nice to see Brock, though.

After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure...
1)Ain't nothing like a Dirty Pair marathon on New Year's Eve.
2)I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II.
3) I'd make an acceptable Mrs. Orton.
1400 reasons to luv me!

No, Austin wanted to ref the match so he could get back at Goldberg for spearing him. Now when he refs the match he has something to get back at Goldberg and Brock. So he probably will stun both of them and drink 25 beers.

According to the dark match results, Matt Hardy beat some jobber ...

Maybe he'll get some post 'Mania rub from someone ... I'd like to see he & Christian battle Booker & Rob for the tag straps.

I was so impressed initially that it then occurred to me what I saw - Christian nearly killing someone about half his size. Then I was mildly disturbed by the image. Really, that's an angle that doesn't need rationalizing. Christian is a lousy son of a bitch for trying to maim Trish. It's not like Stone Cold did it and the fans were cheering (which, of course, has happened). Everybody wants to see Christian get his, and he will courtesy of one Chris Jericho come WMXX. As for how bad the clothesline looked, well, they're professionals, and I have no reason to believe that Christian has any legitimate animosity toward Trish, so I assume that while it looked stiff as hell it wasn't nearly as rough on her as it looked.

Or, of course, maybe she just knew what was coming and took that clothesline like a soldier. Either way, I don't think it was a surprise for Trish when he hit her.

I thought the show was awesome. Every Wrestlemania storyline has some really good build going. HHH was getting insane heat. Orton was the most over he has been. The womens match was good enough, and got just as much reaction as anything else. Booker and RVD looked good together. Foleys promo was great. The crowd didn't crap on the womens tag match announcement, the were mad because stacy had to stop doing cartwheels. The main event was good just for Austins grin instanly changing to a sneer as he looked from Vince to Bischoff during their in ring stare down. The crowd was into everything tonight, and they weren't just a hot crowd, it was all really good stuff.

Edit: Wrestlemania is going to be great. Austin is going to be in the ring with Goldberg. And you know they will get into it somehow. I really haven't been this excited since X-7. WWE on a huge roll i say.

-Victoria v. Molly v. Jazz v. Lita-2 positives, 1 negative of having Molly eliminated so fast. Negative, new face Vic needs to face Lita last to win the title. Positive, it's interesting knowing a new champ will crowned & 2 I have easy rooting interest(Come On Victoria) Opps forgot another negative, Lita is absolutely horrible... Nice cradle by Vic on Molly, Molly did a great job in acting totally pissed. Vic went for the spiders web attempt but Lita reversed it to sloppiness umm I'm convinced Lita forgot what she was suppose to do, she started with the headscissor then for whatever reason went for an armdrag & hit nothing. Just brutal & got a pin attempt off it. I POPPED HUGE when Vic hit The Peak & got the pin, the alternative would be a nightmare for this women wrestling mark. Vic/Molly for the women title at WM, I could buy that. But please keep Lita out of the title picture. Keep her out of the ring all together PLEASE.

-Orton vs. Venis- For a match that the outcome is as clear as the nose on HHH face this match wasn't half bad. I like the set up for the RKO.

-Evolution/Benoit interview- Very boring interview, added nothing, H interviews are so repetitive. "I'm the best wrestler, you guys want me to lose, you want the game to be over" Oh shut up, you've lost already just to come back & still be #1 contender & get a rematch & get the belt back. So for phuck sake stop trying to convince anyone that your career is going to take a hit if you lose this time, 'cause you do the same speech every time out. I was complimentary to him during the contract signing a couple of weeks ago, then last week he was average & this week he was bad. The thing for me is just his character is just not interesting enough to go out there 3 plus weeks in a row & talk about himself. Someone like Eddie can because he's a fresh face out there. H as power champion is just so stale... Benoit comes out and says H to shut up (about time). Gets in the ring as Evo attacks him, HBK makes save gets in crossface.

-Benoit vs. Batista- Another all right match, I like the ending with Batista going for the powerbomb and Benoit reversing it in mid-air to the crossface. Shows Benoit can hit the crossface even from a defensive position.

-RVD/Booker vs. Dupree/Conway- I real beautiful double team move by the faces as RVD held Dupree and Booker hit a great looking leg lariat early in the match. Rest of the match pretty standard stuff.

-Christian vs. Trish- One thing I didn't really get, why was Trish ready to fight in indergender matches but not this time. I'm guessing she figured Christian was a friend and didn't want to really fight him as a friend. What a sick clothesline, I've said this before but Trish is one of the best and exaggerated bumpers on the roster. Her entire body just folded. Chirstian gives the liontamer by bending Trish's back with the move. Is Trish the only person who can take the liontamer I also remember Jericho breaking it out in 2002 on Trish in BookDust/Trish v. Chris/Tian/Victoira matches... As for Trish's sounds of hurtness, ahhh Benoit grunts alot too but he's Ben-godly selling LoL but I did notice Garcia's ears perked up hehe kidding

-McMahon vs. Bischoff- But first Vince sets up some WMXX match including Gayda/Stacy vs.Torrie/Sable evening gown match. OH MY GOD!! We might see a nip slip from two women who has multiple nude pictorials. What a fabulous concept! I won't bother just searching for their PB photos I'd much rather give money to see a 2 second nip blurb on PPV! Stupid as sh*t. Kane gets his match vs. Undertaker and drops in another Ring reference, is there cross-promotion thing going here. Vince makes Austin the special referee in the Brock/Goldberg match... Well now down to business as McMahon/Bischoff is on. Vince no sells all of Bischoffs karate, which I'd make a bigger stink if Eric's kicks aren't look as weak as Lita's punches. As a surprise Brock comes running in and F5 Austin, which at first I thought made NO SENSE but after reading Spiff reasoning I guess it makes some sense.

-OtherStuff- The showed the slowest beatdown in history in SLOW-MOTION ahhh, Foley tried reasoning it and questioning why no one helped him. Nice try Foley...Christian CLT line was funny as he tried covering his tracks after finding out that Trish had zero interest in him...Hey who were those guys (names) helping Trish in the back?... It was a little unusual seeing Austin hyping up Bischoff. "Eye of the Tiger"? LoL

-Line of the Night: Christian "CLT, 'Christian Love Test' to make sure you're not the type of girl who'd 2 time my best friend". - Wait a second Chrisitan love Test. Chrisitan LOVES TEST! What. Well explains the shirts they both are wearing
-Sign of the Night: "Cripple H sucks" - Mostly just surprise it made it on air on a couple of occasions.
-3Stars of the Night: 1)Victoria. 2)Molly. 3)Trish. - Yup all girls week. Victoria did her best in a bad situation. Molly played up the freaked out champion who lost her title and felt cheated. Even though it was one move, the visual of Trish taking that clothesline was as impactful then any 15-minute beatdown. Benoit and Booker T also deserve consideration,

Really happy for Victoria, I hope this sets up her and Molly at WM because Molly got sneaked rolled up so she has a case for not getting pinned one on one. Love all the Raw women wrestlers, but Lita just too awful in there, it really shows how great Molly is by having a very good match vs. Lita at Survivor Series and it also explains why in tag matches Molly is in the match 90% of the time and the times Gail is in they make for damn sure Trish was in there. Speaking of Trish, the final straw of the Y2J/Chrisitan friendship was drawn. We see alot of male/female altercations nowadays but this one stood out. I think the build to it was fantastic, the final betrayal of a friendship. I don't mind to say this may sound very markish, but I want to see Y2J rip Christian apart LoL... As for the matches on Raw, none of them were bad but none really great either, each match had a spot that impressed and made it worthwhile but not outstanding.

So I'm guessing Christian vs. Chris Jericho is a lock for WMXX. No complaints on my behalf. Just another reason to buy the PPV.

I get the feeling we may be building toward a Foley heel turn. I mean, he did make some valid points in his promo (nobody saved him, even though he was well liked and considered a legend in the back)...He could be onto something there.

It was nice to see Molly wrestle, but it did suck that she lost the title. I dug the celebration with Victoria and Steven Richards, however. Those two look really good together.

Trish sold that Liontamer like a pro, however. She did indeed look like she was in pain.

Worst part of Raw: NO STORM! Why, Vince, WHY? He deserves better than being on the midcard of Sunday Freaking Heat!

AMEN Quezzy, you took the words right out of my mouth.
Not that I don't like a lot of matches being built up for WM, but the Playboy-4-way-evening gown-whatever just ISN'T one of them...now granted I'm a woman, so maybe I'm biased :-)

And Lance can't catch a break...ugh.

I agree that it would be hard to insert Storm into a storyline to make SENSE for him to have a match at WMXX, but I don't think that is the same thing as not deserving one. He deserves (IMHO) a lot more than the WWE is giving him.

See, that's just it. This wasn't a smack, this was an outright assault on Trish. I'm not a mark, I know the whole thing was a script, she knew it was coming, and sold it like a champ, yadda, yadda, yadda. Heck, they probably even laughed about it afterward. I am more concerned about the image that was portrayed. For that brief moment, I was embarrassed that I enjoyed watching Trish bump like a maniac because this guy at least looked like he was brutalizing her. Don't get me wrong - mad props to both of them because they did their jobs very, very well. I'm also probably going to continue watching, too. But am I the only one not completely jaded to the image that was just presented?

Yeah, he seemed a little too wide-eyed, like HHH had just told him that his house had burned down.

I must've missed the non-wrestlers taking up all the time on this show. Yeah, Vince had the last segment, but like oldschoolhero said, he DID set up a bunch of wrestling matches. That's good, right? I certainly love to bitch, but it's not like Vince/Steph is gonna headline Wrestlemania. And I'm sorry too that guys like Lance probably won't get a slot, but those guys are simply not over enough to get on the biggest card of the year. And you have to be over or have big tits to get a spot in the show. It may be unfair, but them's the breaks.

Overall, it was an okay show, sort've a utilitarian episode. They set up matches that we already knew about and other plot points were advanced.

The ending of the show was fun, mainly because it was a surprise. I like being suprised.
