Remember the Green Hornet? Y'know, the dude in the 70s with the really cool car who fought crime... Well, Bruce Lee (his sidekick, Kato) did all the work, but the Green Hornet took all the damned credit. Well, it's gonna be a movie. By Kevin Smith. I like the Green Hornet. I like Kevin Smith. I'm a tad confused as to what the two mixed together shall be like, but I'll try to keep an open mind.
As for who SHOULD play the roles: Ray Park as the Green Hornet (or even Ewan McGregor) and Jet Li as Kato. Won't happen, but I can dream.

Fletch is mired in development hell, presumably since casting has to go through the studio. Ranger Danger & the Danger Rangers is still on tap eventually, but nothing concrete has been set yet.

When I was a kid in the '60's we loved the Green Hornet on TV. Great fun and mindless. We loved Bruce Lee and that car. Hope they shoot it in B&W just for the atmosphere.
Originally posted by Mayhem I read a rumor somewhere that had tapped George Clooney and Jet Li in the roles ... of course that was just rumor.
The Variety article on ViewAskew.com said that Smith likes the idea of Clooney & Jet Li for the roles (since both had been attached to the project before he got involved).
I love the idea of Clooney & Jet Li.
