Over in another thread, dskillz made the comment "When Steph makes her return, the pop will be deafening, especially if it is to take back her job at Smackdown."

This got me to thinking...(scary)

I haven't really been able to keep up with the IWC much as of late, but have there been any rumblings of a possible Steph return? And if so, I imagine she WOULD "feud" with Heyman to get her old job back as dskillz said.

Personally, I think Heyman has brought a bit of spark to SD...like him or not, he is a great character/role-player and his yapping on the mic can help push storylines along. Aside from the fact that I know many people on here don't like the whole GM position altogether, assuming it is going to stay, what character do you think works better for this spot...Heyman or Steph? Because I am one fan who was glad not to see her come back real quick after her honeymoon...

Ok T.i.O will clear things up....

Steph was suppose to be the one to help Vince bury Undertaker (didnt make sense to me then, dont make sense to me now). However, Heyman was doing such a good job as GM those plans were canceled and he stayed. I have a feeling she will be back before Mania or right after. (I dont know if she'll come back to RAW or SD)

Now my opinon: As a guy I naturally rather look at Steph then Heyman. I dont like Heyman as GM because he reminds me too much of Bischoff. I thought Steph was good as GM because she was a straight up face unlike Bisch. See right now Bisch and Heyman are both heel GM's so we see similar heelish actions on both shows. On both shows faces are booked unfairly and screwed. I would rather see Steph as SD GM, but I think Heyman should become an "agent" again. I liked the pairing of him and Show and he could also manage the Worlds Greatest Tag Team. I would like Heyman to form a big stable on Smackdown.

Or......and this actually might happen.....There is talk of WWE starting a third more "extreme" brand. I could see Heyman losing his GM spot and being so fed up he steals talent from both RAW and Smackdown. He then starts up an "extreme" lawless brand where anything goes.

Where didja hear that, 'cause that would've made no sense.

No bro, that was all over the net. Not on the crap sites but on 1Wrestling and on Torch. Like I said, I dont really undertand where they were going with it. I guess she was gonna try to suck up to Vince to get her job back.

Well, if it was on one of those sites, surely 411 would have "borrowed" it and we all would have read it by now.

If Steph never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever came back on TV, it would be too soon.

Nowt like speaking your mind.

IMO i think Steph should be a co-GM with Heyman for a while (constantly fueding for position), and then win a winner-takes-all match on a PPV. So Heyman will create a third more 'extreme' brand and steal everyone (all the old ECW talent as well as underutilized talent).
Props to T.I.O for the idea

Christ God help us NO! She should stay off TV. I cringe at the thought of listening to her talk, her acting skills or lack thereof, and just her period. She is horrible!

Now if Heyman were to run a third brand, that would be neato.

If Steph does show up anytime soon, I bet it'll be on RAW and not Smackdown. Her husband is there and she has past storyline history with him and Eric. Over on Smackdown there's just the "get back at Dad" storyline left there, since everything else she was involved with there is gone, and she could easily do that storyline on RAW IF they wanted to revisit it.

If they really wanted to move Heyman to a "third" brand, just move Stone Cold to Smackdown. Austin would work in either brand and there's no reason to keep him at RAW except as a pain in the butt to Eric, with Steph could readily do.

Of course, we're missing the real news here! Steph McMahon as the GM for the "extreme third brand!" After all she WAS the owner of ECW, wasn't she?

Hee, hee, hee.

As long as they have wrestlers representing them and fighting for their respective side...First of all, the thought of Steph and Heyman going at it in the ring doesn't do anything for me...yikes. Second, Heyman (if his interview on WWE.com still holds true) can't handle too much physical activity b/c of his neck. I have been surprised lately with the bumps he's already taken (Goldberg's spear, for one). That's also why I've been wondering how much truth there is to the rumor of Vince v. Bisch v. Heyman at WM. Could Heyman really take the bumps?

Yeah, Heyman's gotta stay ... I could see Steph coming in and playing a role similar to Austin's on RAW ... She could be the face to offset Heyman's heelness a la Austin/Bischoff.

I think Stephanie should just stick to the backstage stuff for now. Keep writing good stuff for Eddie and company. I'm sure we will see her face in some form at Mania anyway.

I wrote that hypothetically, but she will be back on TV, I am sure of it. They all come back in one form or another. Shane and Linda will be back as well eventually. I liked her as the face GM. I thought that the role suited her and she didn't get in the way of most angles. She said her piece, and got out of wrestler's way.

Just to clarify, I meant right after they got married, people speculated she'd be back right after the wedding/honeymoon (you'll recall Trips was out for a bit during that time). And, as it ended up, she didn't come back as quick as people had thought she would--nor at all, so far. But I agree with dskillz, it will happen eventually.

NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Not Linda 'worst ever actress/entertainer/promo/wrestler/im more important than Vince' Mcmahon. Oh well guess she is Vince's wife and its his ball so...

Anyway Stephanie should return as soon as possible IMO to 'balance the force' as a face GM - if RAW can have two GM's when why not SD - also unlike her darling mother she can actually cut a promo when it counts (cant think of an example though but im sure she can). Besides she's the posh mans eye candy.
