Channeling the spirit of t*mvejada, I remind you that this Sunday's Adult Swim broadcast is monopolised by the SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST BOOTLEG SERIES, where episodes that couldn't make it onto the DVD compilation (rights issues, right?) will be shown in a block for easy home taping - I mean, for you to watch and enjoy as a complement to your DVD set. We haven't bought the set yet, but coming up with a gimmick like this for the completist nuts - and I'm admittedly a completist nut - might just get me to drop the cash.
As always, various bumpers of questionable humour are also promised, but this time they will also apparently give the skinny about why you won't ever see these on DVD (so you'd better tape them, whoops, I mean enjoy watching them this one night).
I must confess I don't know enough about this series to know whether they'll need to have another block down the road or not.
And finally, "Brak" is replaced on the 22d by "Harvey Birdman." Since I'm late to the Adult Swim party, I've never seen it, so lucky me. There's also some anime changes but I don't watch anime so THIS POST ENDS............NOW
Hmm... I wonder if the President's Day Nightmare episode'll actually have all the 'toons as well? It'd be nice to have the "pilots" of the original Cartoon Cartoon shows. Especially Dexter's Lab before it turned into shit.

I especially enjoy the Powerpuff Girls and Courage the Cowardly Dog pilots from the old What a Cartoon Show!
By the way, thanks for the heads up about the Space Ghost block on Sunday, Zed! I didn't even know about it.
As for the anime changes, does anyone interested know if that's when Witch Hunter Robin starts? I've been wanting to check out that show for a while now.

Witch Hunter Robin's scheduled to start the next day, Monday the 16th according to Adult Swim's website.
Edit: The rest of the Sunday lineup looks unchanged... Home Movies, Cowboy Bebop, and Lupin are all at their normal times.

Yeah, but the 22nd has Big O and I'm too lazy to remember if that's it or the other show is different, too.
Well I'll be damned... I hope that's not a permanent thing. Hopefully it's just a placeholder for the other new shows that're set to debut this year.
I'd really like to know the reasoning behind some of those decisions. I mean, Big O, Cowboy Bebop, and Lupin are good and all, but six days a week makes for a pretty high rate of repetition when there's only twenty-some episodes... Hopefully they're looking at getting some other shows like Inuyasha, that have gone on long enough to cut down on that a little. (I'm holding out hope that they'll get Ranma 1/2 and some of the other older shows, personally.)

Aaron & Lise gave me TWO ties for Christmas - this one's the better one. It's by Bloomington, - 100% PURE SILK MADE IN U.S.A. RN 70175 - really, now...it sure doesn't FEEL like silk!
