Sometimes I'm unnerved when I see a tie such as this one and have NO IDEA how it ended up in the pile. I can only speculate that back in the day, somebody must have GIVEN me this tie because they were getting so annoyed at the OTHER ties I was wearing that they actually spent their own money hoping I'd wear this one so as not to embarrass them. I wonder if it worked. Clearly, it's much too nice to actually be one of mine (when I noted this to my wife, she made a "I find your relative definition of 'nice' baffling" face) and yet, all these reflective shades of copper and gold and silver DO kinda work after you stare at it for a while.
I've decided to deviate from my 200x400 format for the graphic, since I can't really see a PATTERN in this tie and I ended up not being able to decide what to crop (haha, I mistyped "crap," how about that) to make this look representative, so you get an extra long graphic today. WOW
This tie is by Christian Dior! It is 100% PRINTED polyester! Or so sayeth the label.
The more I think about it.....I don't know why, but I get this nagging feeling and I'm thinking my brother might have something to do with this tie. (?)
I will NOT be wearing a tie to No Way Out. You wouldn't be able to see it anyway, trust me.
I acutally have one pretty close to that one as well. It is in general rotation currently. Though today I have the black tie with Elmo and Grover standing atop Oscar and his trash can. Classic, I say.

Okay - I have to ask. Why are Elmo and Grover trying to keep Oscar down? Granted, I haven't watched Seseme Street in forever but I would like to believe I would have heard of this turn of events at some point in time.

Come on, Phil! Join DEAN and I and have a brood of children already!
Rumor is that Oscar is kind of grouchy and the happy Muppets have had enough. Grover and Elmo are the happiest of the Muppets, so I am sure that's why they were enlisted to take care of Oscar.
