At this point in the season, teams are starting to come completely into form, so my question is, who do you guys think are four possible Final Four teams, as of right now?

Myself, I'd pick Stanford, Pitt, UCONN, and as a darkhorse in place of Duke, Miss. State. There's other teams out there that could make it, but I just have a feeling about these four teams. So what does everyone else think?

Oklahoma State, Stanford, Louisville, Providence (sure, I'm in the tank for them. I admit that. But Syracuse proved last year teams don't know how to play against 2-3 zones, and Gomes is a good enough player to carry them if anyone else can hit a 3). Pitt and UConn have the talent to get there, but they can't shoot free throws, and that will cost both teams the second weekend. St. Joe's will go into the Tourney unbeaten, but get knocked out by an 8-9 team. And there is something about this Duke team that I don't trust in a big spot.

That may be true. But JJ Reddick is possibly the best shooter I have ever seen collegiately. If he gets hot during that six-game stretch, Duke will be awfully tough to beat...

I'm not so sure I'd consider Miss. St a darkhorse at this point...They're one fluke layup at the buzzer away from being undefeated. And the SEC is GOOD this year...Lots of balance from top to bottom. They've proven themselves to everybody down here in SEC country...

It will really depend on which teams get hot down the stretch. There is always a couple of teams who are middle of the pack who turn it on at the end and end up in the final four.

At this point of last year, I am not sure many would have picked Syracuse or Texas...

For this year, right now I would have to say

UCONN - They are still the best team in the Big East, with the most experience...

DUKE - Reverse to redsoxnation, I think this Duke team will be clutch when it counts...

ST JOES - one of the unbeatens, I think Stanford gets a wake-up call in the tourney, moreso than St Joes. The PAC-10 is not that good this year...

LOUISVILLE - Pitino effect.... This was a toss-up between a lot of teams, Mississippi St, Kentucky, Oklahoma St, Texas and Kansas could all be here.

Possible little teams that could... Gonzaga, Creighton, Southern Illinois, Western Michigan, Memphis...

It's really hard to call Gonzaga a "little team" when they've been in or near the top 10 most of the year. I see them more like the UNLV teams on the late 80s/early 90s when they were running roughshod over the Big West and were the last mid-major team to win the national title.

Just remember that Gonzaga's two losses were to St. Joseph's and Stanford. They are no longer a little school but a basketball power.

Kentucky - Yes, I'll wear my blue tinted glasses. This team hasn't peaked yet and will only improve. They are winning close, tough games. They know how to win in crunch time. They're not as good as last year, the bench is a question mark (but slowly improving), but they live with defense and unselfish play. Besides, everybody's bench shortens up in March. With all the seniors they have, they can play with foul trouble.

Dark Horse - Michigan State. I am a real Tom Izzo fan, plus I feel that the tough schedule they've played will reap some benefits in March.

I actually hate picking a Final Four before selection Sunday, but I'll also throw out the thought that I'll be surprised if even 2 of the above 4 teams make it to San Antonio.

Well the biggest problem about choosing the Final Four prior to the seeding is that you don't know who is in what bracket, you might choose two teams that are really good and do have a legitimate chance but then they could be in the same bracket only allowing one of them to make the final four. That being said, I'll take a stab at it too.

Kentucky - I agree that Kentucky isn't done improving, being a SEC fan i've seem them play a lot and they're looking pretty impressive, especially in close games. They've pulled out close games against South Carolina, Miss St., FLorida, and Tennessee, none of who are easy teams. That's going to come in handy in any close games in the tourney.

Gonzaga - I honestly haven't seen them play that much this year but they're 19 - 2 and both of those losses are to the two undefeated teams, won 12 in a row, and I like the little team (yeah I know they've been good for a while and aren't an underdog or anything, but they still come from a mid major conference and I'd love to see a mid major team win it all)

Stanford - Just because I think atleast one 1 seed will make it to the Final Four, and Stanford looks the best of the four to me.

Wisconsin - Just a guess.

Quezzy, you might has well reserve your tickets for the final four TODAY, if your team keeps shooting free throws like they did on Sat...What a clinic.

Allen "The Answer" Iverson is a free agent and has been noted to be interested to play with the Memphis Grizzlies. However, no team (any playoff team) is really interested in signing A.I. after his lack-luster chemistry with the Detroit Pistons....
