Count me as one who uses a PS2 to play original PSone games. It's not my PS2, mind you...my roomates own it, but I still have games I want to buy and defeat before I purchase any PS2 games. Final Fantasy VIII and IX being two in that list.
I'm one of the types that requires more use out of a video game system than just the gaming function. The PS2's DVD function was an awesome idea, as is the backwards compatibility. Same with the GBA playing oldschool GB and GBC games. Muy Bien!
