So Bradshaw's out there almost every night and SEEMS to be getting some pretty big pops...but where is Farooq?? And if he's out for good...who should they stick with Terry to re-build the APA...or should they even bother??

I'd vote Hardcore into Farooq's spot given half a second even though Holly's not much for tag-team partners...I think they could sell the two of them together fairly well...tough guys...working class SOB's...hell...old guys...lol...etc etc etc

Thoughts??

Cheers,

Erin

I think Farooq is injured...I doubt he is out for good though. I liek when he says "ahh hell" or "ahh damn"

I really don't wanna see Bradshaw in a new tag team. I complain to your about your Bob Holly love sometimes, but compared to Bradshaw I adore Holly and his nifty dropkick. Between the troops and the drunken surfer gang signs he has to be as annoying if not more annoyign than the Cat. He has clubbing forearms though woooo! I seriously think Bob should team with that tough enough kid he beat though. Kinda like a Chavo/Eddie relationship from wcw. It could work, and it might make me be interesting in Holly again.

Don't you remember when Bob "Spark Plug" Holly teamed with The 1-2-3 Kid to win the WWF Tag Team Titles?

It's Faarooq...two a's.

I'd go with Howie Long.

For the record, that's the sign of the Texas Longhorns.

Don't forget, Hardcore and Crash were the champs as well.

Hey...thanks for adding nothing of use to this thread...I really appreciate it

And Holly did beat the Rock and Mankind with Crash by his side...but he's admitted to not enjoying tag-teams as a rule.

I think Bradshaw has been getting some serious pops of late...I'm not a huge fan of his but I always got a kick out of the APA...I'd like to see it carried on a bit longer...especially with the lack of heels in the tag team department...I think the APA could fill the hole until someone new stepped up to the plate

Cheers,

Erin

Keep in mind that before this run, Faarooq was retired.

Didn't he take on a role as a road manager or agent for a short while?

Blame Wrestlemaina 2000 for N64. The game had the name error, and people still use it today. Even though the WWE website and the graphic on TV has it spelled correct.

Didn't he just change back to Ron Simmons last year?

When you say "this run"...when exactly did the run start??

And is no one interested in having the APA around anymore??

Erin

That was to get him away from his APA thing when he turned heel and joined Reverend D-Von. Then D-Von went to Raw, and Simmons started teaming with Bradshaw again, and chaged his ring name back to Faarooq.

What I think is irrelevant in the scheme of things but...

Bradshaw should get a push at this point, shit or get off the pot. Does the WWE need yet ANOTHER hoss who can't really work? I think he can talk to some extent, so push the guy a bit in possible feuds with Big Show, Lesnar, and anyone else who could possibly work with him... Rhyno... and get someting out of him. Or else dump his ass andget some new peeps in there.

Ron Simmons should be Ron Simmons, hype his fucing world title reign, his tag team championships, and again, use him or lose him.

The WWE midcard is so underutilized it is ridiculous. If they're just there for house shows, well fuck it cuz I don't go to house shows at 50$ a ticket anyway.

They already tried pushing Bradshaw. Remember 2002 with Austin & Bradshaw VS nWo? Three weeks in a row?!

With his book on stocks that he wrote last year, I'm suprised they didn't repackage him as the new I.R.S. -- it's not too late! Heh.

come on. He's literally got one move...he's fat and he can't cut a promo without reminding us how much he likes Bush. Which is fine if he's on a political show, but I don't want to hear it.

I still can't believe the number of times they put him over Rhyno.

I don't really see Holly as the beer swilling bar room brawler that Bradshaw would need as his sidekick. Holly seems more of a health nut gym rat type. I think Bradshaw needs more of a poker buddy.

If I remember correctly, it was due to severe health problems that his wife was experiencing, and he took time off to be with her. But then she overcame those problems and once she was okay, he returned to the ring.

I'm with GreekPhysiqueJohnnyO in regards to Ron Simmons, though. It seems like they briefly acknowledged him as a former NWA/WCW champion back when the Invasion first started, so why not use it for something? Obviously, there's no way they can give Ron Simmons a title run, but he can talk good enough to put him in an advisor/bodyguard role for someone else. Personally, I think he'd be the perfect person backing Booker T to a world title run. Or with the commercials hyping Eddy's attempts to become the first Mexican WWE Champion, have him offer his support, telling him he understands what it all means to Eddy. Simmons may not be a great worker, but he has plenty of things that could be put to good use on WWE TV.
