What a great day for WWE! First that sideshow, give me your sympathy act, Zach Gowen has been released by WWE. I heard we was a prick backstage and was even nicknamed "Little Prince" on the Indie scene.
Now in other news Mark Henry was injured in his match with Benoit on RAW and will be out for a couple of months. Now I dont wish injury on anybody but since it has happened, I will have to live with the fact that I wont have to see Mark Henrys slow, boring ass on TV.

I don't care how boring he was...he was actually great filler. The slow brick wall might not have made me watch the TV much but at least he had decent bulid going for him for once. I guess that means we won't get to see Teddy unless he's with Jazz now. Holla at me Playa!

No...I think this will mean they'll finally be left with no Choice but to hook up Booker T. with Teddy Long, and then (even thoguh I would personally prefer Booker to remain face) the two of them might actually go somewhere.
As many people as Benoit has injured, it's really too bad they've already had him jumps shows. Otherwise, we could have been treated to a Hell in the Cell match between the Crippler and Bob Holly that would make the Undertaker cringe.
I, for one, will miss Mark Henry. He's one of the best talkers on Raw and can instantly add credibility to the opponents that beat him. Sure, he doesn't have a flash moveset, but if you were the world's strongest man, would you bother doing cartwheels and backflips? Personally, I don't mind the occasional bit of realism in my cartoons.
And T.i.O, what's your grudge against Zach Gowan? I'm beginning to get the feeling he beat you out of a spelling bee in 3rd grade or some such.
I did notice how he tapped out really, really quickly from the Crossface, though.
SD2: April, Year 3; what's the point to the Career mode, anyhow? FF7: Disc 1; 18h into game; At the old Mako Reactor outside Nimelheim (again). FF8: Disc 1; 1h into game; back at the beginning again
Uhh, Benoit didn't injure Mark Henry, that's the storyline. Henry injured his shoulder on the house shows and they used the Benoit angle as the reason to take him off TV.
Supposedly, he hurt his shoulder at a house show, worked the RAW with it, and it was further injured when Benoit and him did a shoulder block sequence. He looked hurt, but for crying out lour, He was the one throwing the block, not Benoit.
If Henry is really hurt I will have to shed tears. He's a one of a kind wrestler and they were actually booking him as a threat. He's been the best 'enforcer' type character that wrestling has had in years. I really enjoy Raw when him and Teddy show up on my screen.
I'm not going to shed a tear for Henry's injury but I must echo the notion that he was a valuable presence on Raw. He was a compliment to the babyfaces on the roster esp the HBK incident.

Mark Henry was a great talker? Surely you jest! He never said more than 5 words, and he always looked like he was constipated. Henry didn't have a moveset period. I don't like to see the guy hurt, but I will never shed so much as a depressed sigh in his direction.
Damn you WWE for making me change my sig. I'm sure you have good enough reasons to get rid of Shannon, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Let me thus be the first to say: BRING BACK DAFFNEY!

Great faction.
Don't forget about his Stable O' Saturday Night Jobbers in WCW! Now that I think about it, "Hardwork" Bobby Walker might be a halfway decent addition to Playaz, Inc....

Who wouldn't like Bobby Walker? Everyone loves hard work.

I like his in-ring trash talk, but there's a reason they put him with Long.
Wait…if it’s MLK Jr. Day AND Pat Patterson’s Birthday…who gets the token win here?-- Matt "Excalibur05" Hocking on a match between Mark Henry and Rico
MH: What’s a clever way to say that I have a penis? CJ: Uh…Mark, nobody’s going to buy that shirt. MH: How about if I say that I’ve got…a…uh…? CJ: Coming up with T-Shirt ideas is hard Mark, why not leave it to the WWE marketing department. MH: I know! I’ve got it! CJ: Got what? MH: Stank! That’s Mah Stank! I’m gonna make a fortune!! CJ: “That’s Mah Stank”? MH: On the front it’ll say “Can You Smell It?” and on the back it’ll say “That’s Mah Stank”. Everybody’ll buy it because they’ll think it’s a Rock shirt. CJ: You know…you might be on to something there, sad to say. MH: I can’t wait to show mah stank to Trish.
You know, I have a feeling that Spanky didn’t quit, he was fired. Why? So they could repackage Mark Henry as “Stanky.” Think about THAT! --Matt "Excalibur05" Hocking, 1/19/04 Raw Satire

That's about the third or fourth time I've heard this from you over the past few days. Is there a source you could quote?
Not to run to anyone's defense, but Keller did mention it (pwtorch.com). Of course, he doesn't cite a source, so its possible he got it from T.I.O.a B.M.F.

"Orton's facials were perfect, I must say." (Ringmistress)First off, the Gowen discussion thread's right here.
Now, as for Henry, well, he seemed to be finding his stroke (well, compared to the rest of his run). Hope he can come back soon, but he also just so happened to put over the Crossface as an even more devastating move. No matter what, that merits snaps for the bookers. :)

Gowen and Henry both gone? Someone pinch me! Hopefully Henry will be out long enough to not get a Wrestlemania match (Wrestlemania 21, wait...and 22 included ofcourse). Vince, push someone talented now, please.
