Very good show, but really needed to be 2 hours (although I'm sure that would be seen as excessive by most). The first 45 mins is spent getting in touch with the band members and showing where they are now, discussing why they split, and talking it out, and 10 mins of the actual concert.
We got to see:
The Metro (mixed in with clips of how the band looked back in the day and some reactions of band members) No More Words (acoustic - We only got to hear part of this, and more's the pity)
I've checked the Alarm's site and they played about 7-8 songs total, so if only two air, I can only hope that there will be DVDs of these released later.
Still, very entertaining and I'll probably watch most of them (Romeo Void is tomorrow night).

Any word on if these bands are going to tour now that they are reunited? I would die of happiness if I could hear Dramarama perform "Anything, Anything" live.

Reminds me of a funny story. I got to see Dramarama in 1990. They closed with "Anything Anything", but John Easdale's voice gave out one minute into the song. He finally said, "Aw hell you guys know it better than me anyway!", so the crowd finished the song for him.

I'm really hoping that this show takes off ... the possibilities are endless.
I saw them in 89 at the old Channel club in Boston and on tour in 91. Both were great shows.
Hopefully they'll show in the future the full concerts of all the bands in a 1 hour show, instead of the 10 minutes that they will be showing in these shows.
Believe me, I'm not defending message boards -- they can be evil places ESPN.com's Bill Simmons

It sounds like they're concentrating more on the "reality" aspect ("The bitter break-up! The re-union! Will they make up or go to WAR??") than the music that the bands made. That sucks that only 10 minutes and 2 songs were given to the actual music. I AM glad that "Metro" (!) and "No More Words" were featured. If they forced them shove "Take My Breath Away" down our throats again I would have screamed loud enough for YOU to hear it.
But I'm all about the episode with Extreme (even if I'm afraid that "More Than Words" will be performed and shown. GREAT song, but it's the only one by them that anyone ever plays!). And someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but getting ALL the original members back may be a little difficult since I think I remember reading that Pat Badger died a couple years ago...

"Hole Hearted", anyone?
And someone needs to blurt out "VAN HALEN 3 SUCKED!" at some point during that one. Would Cherone go apeshit?

I actually liked VH3, but not as a normal VH album. I thought there were great songs, but I think Gary was made to sound too much like Sammy at times.
Maybe they'll do something like 'Rest in Peace' or 'Get the Funk Out' ...

It's their biggest hit, so I imagine they'll play it.
Bassist Chris Carter hosts "Breakfast with the Beatles" in L.A. Who knows if he could get time off to tour.
