Anyone else try the new Diet Coke with Lime? I saw it for the first time last night at Target, and picked up a bottle since it was only .97 cents. I wasn't expecting much, but I found to enjoy it much more than the Diet Coke with Lemon. I'd reccomend giving it a try to those diet drinkers out there. Personally, I'm still waiting for a good berry flavored soda since Pepsi Blue bombed (and there was never a diet version of it).
Now how long till we get Pepsi Twist Lime? :)

Haven't tried the Lime Diet Coke. Has anyone tried "dnl", from the makers of 7up? It's got a fruity flavor, is green, and has caffeine. I just tried it a week or so ago, and I really liked it.
Soft Drink related question: What the hell happened to Pepsi One? Did it not sell well enough? A few years ago, everyone I knew was drinking it because it was the only diet soda that tasted remotely good.

Pepsi One is still alive and well in my parts at least. Lately I've been hooked on diet colas with some kind of flavor (Diet Pepsi Twist, Vanilla, Wild Cherry, etc.), but when I want just a straight up cola flavored diet drink I still go for Pepsi One (or Diet Dr. Pepper if you count that as a regular cola). A lot of people I talk to have an intense hatred for it, but in my opinion it tastes way better than regular Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. There is always plenty of it on the shelves at the stores I go to. Hopefully it's not just the left overs from year's past. Now Pepsi Blue- that's a tough one to find.

I have a friend searching for Dr. Slice, of all things, so if your area still has it one store shelves, please give me a City and State.
The new soda I've found myself addicted to (actually it's been out nearly a year now) is Safeway Select Red Twist. You're thinking it's a Red Fusion knockoff, right? Nope...Red LICORICE. And it really does taste like Red Licorice. After the initial weirdness wore off, I was hooked.
I don't know if we have it in any stores, but alot of restaurants (Subway and Lian Chin's are two off the top of my head) in Madison, WI have Dr. Slice in the soda machines.

I think the deal with Pepsi One is you MUST drink it within a certain amount of time from when it was put in the can, 'cause if you wait too long it just turns AWFUL tasting. I think that's the only soda for which I'd actually pay attention to the dates they stamp on the can. But I'm not drinking it at the moment - like you, I'm digging the flavoured colas - Diet Cherry Coke is hard to find but worth the drive, and I'm sticking to Diet Dr Pepper at work. I haven't heard of the lime Coke but that sounds intriguing - citrus seemd to do a good job of cutting that aspartame-iness, at least to my palate. If only I drank LESS soda, I'd stick to the sugared stuff, though...but my current level of caffeine consumption demands I cut way back on the sugar. ;-)
At last, I can die happy. One of the best shows ever, Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, is finally available on a DVD collection. (VHS, too, for you tape lovers out there.) Like Dickie himself would say: "I'll drink to that!
