The sad part is I have every episode of Smackdown going back to October on tape, but I can't get around to watching them - yet, I KEEP TAPING THEM
And remember Chris, its a 2 hour special Celebrity Poker Challenge Final on Bravo tonite. Could screw up other shows you watch. Then again, it'll be replayed 348 times in the next few weeks anyway.
This is God's country, this is America and I've got a Rolex watch and you don't. Ha Ha.
I love Iron Chef! The over the top commentary with cheesy english translation. Vastly superior concept to normal cooking shows.
CSI and Without a Trace are manditory viewing in my house as well. Throw in South Park and Simpsons that I haven't seen.
Anyone seen "Cold Case" and if so, whats it like.

I would have enjoyed Cold Case, but only if I had never seen an episode of Cold Squad. Even though the cast of the latter changed with a frequency that would alarm Dick Wolf.

It's pretty good; it shouldn't be up against Simpsons.

Bigger fan of the news. We watch KPIX since it's the Letterman lead-in and despite the fact that Dana King is seriously annoying. (I hope she doesn't ever Google her name and read this)

Ja, I have to catch the late nite airing anyway since "24" will be on.
Believe me, I'd tape stuff except I NEVER get around to watching it later. (cf. Smackdown)

I've been big into reruns of 'Law and Order' and ' Law and Order SVU' lately. Other than that it's Raw, football, news and of course HBO SUNDAYS! Except for this block which features 'Sex in the City' which does nothing for me.

Legends of the Hidden Temple!?!? Man, I remember that show. What channel is that on? Some Nickelodeon bastard channel like "Noggin" or "Nick GAS"?

That reminds me of a question I meant to ask you WAAAY back in the day (like...a couple years ago):
What exactly was your Monday night routine while you were recapping? And you can assume I mean those glorious days when BOTH Raw and Nitro were on, and you KNOW I'm talking about those 3-hour Nitros. You always seemed to get the recaps up by mid/late Tuesday morning. Did you even sleep?! If you didn't sleep beforehand, did you then go to sleep after uploading? If that's an affirmative, then...I'm very very sorry.

Ayup. Legends is on GAS, and Degrassi: TNG is on Noggin (erm... the N).

Hey, I think we found the one guy in the world who doesn't watch Law & Order reruns.
Rob asks Dave and Ric if they want to go backstage to play Hungry Hungry Hippos and Flair and Batista immediately bail. Flair wants to be Green. Man, EVERYBODY wants to be green. Except the girl in the commercials. She wanted to be pink. That either means that the ad agency was sexist or that she was communist. Of course Hungry Hungry Hippos is a rather capitalist game isnt it? No self respecting communist would play Hungry Hungry Hippos. Except Stalin. He LOVED Hungry Hungry Hippos. In the old days, Nitro was on at 5 and I'd do it live, take an hour off, then do a rough draft of RAW at 9 and go back over it after the show was over. TNT going to a split feed killed that for me. I'd usually start with Nitro, then either move to RAW as it came on or stick with Nitro if I wasn't too disgusted. RAW would HAVE to be done off the tape, since I was more worried about getting the details - Nitro got easier and easier to gloss over. When I worked graveyard shift, I'd just take the tapes to work and do them there (which had the added advantage of me pretending I was getting paid to write) - usually work would be slow enough that I could get everything done before end of shift - or, better yet, before somebody on dayshift came in and saw me watching wrestling on a TV. When I worked DAY shift, I'd usually stay up all night - that didn't work so well when I was doing reports three nights a week, which is why Thunder didn't last so long. THEN I'd get work schedules where I wouldn't work Friday, which is why Smackdown often got pushed back to Monday for a while. I think if I hadn't gone back to graveyards, I would have quit a LOT sooner than I did. Towards the end there, I'd pretty much gotten it down to three hours of recapping to do a two hour show (TNA PPVs included). Of course, I'm working days NOW, so there's really no way in hell you'll see recaps from me. Hey, if I quit my job.....oh, wait, I need that paycheck. Ask me after I win the Lotto. ;-)

Hey, I watch those, too! I liked them better on A&E, though - don't know why
OH and did I mention there's a "Homicide: Life on the Street" marathon on MLK Day (Monday) on Court TV? Not here? Well, I did now!
I'm seeing alot of detective dramas on your list, have you ever watched Monk from USA network (I'm pretty sure)... It is a unique mix of real detective story and some comedy in it. Tony Shalhoub (who was the cabbie on NBC's Wings) is the lead in this show, and I think his acting & character is the best in television. I don't watch much TV at all, but I gave this show a shot and I got hooked.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is on ORANGE alert - High (Due to Bob Holly WWE Title match, Kliq/Kliq PPV World Title match, Mae Young appearance) 1/6
Get your WWE CD copy autographed by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus and Lilian Garcia after Raw... Oh MY! Christmas has come late. Can't get better then that.

Tony Shaloub is one of the most underrated actors on the planet. The guy is amazing. How someone managed to successfully pitch the idea of a European-style detective show (i.e. closer to Poirot or Miss Marple than, say, CSI) with an Obsessive Compulsive and affected lead to the USA Network I'll never know. But I'm thankful.
I've been surprised that no one's mentioning Monster Garage. I've always liked watching people who are good at what they do (from Iron Chef to the Woodwright's Shop) and Monster Garage has the advantage of a major "Gee-Whiz!" factor. As much as I don't generally like "Reality TV," this show always entertains.

I gotta say, Monk is one of my favorites too. All new season begins Friday on USA!
