Anyone seen more than the videos for this game yet? I spotted it on an MTV video game show (Seanbaby doesn't seem too comfortable in front of the camera, which suprised me) and went poking around on IGN and GameSpot to see what I could find. Looks like a more fluid version of NFL Blitz without the normal uniforms.

I figure I'll give it a rent or just wait on it used in a month or so. I'm working on FFX-2 at the moment and won't be free from it for a while...

UNITED WE STAND

I've been looking forward to it for a while and already have it preordered.

It is the soldier not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press

It is the soldier not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech

It is the soldier not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate

It is the soldier not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial

It is the soldier, who saluted the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag

I was actually able to find a demo at Best Buy last night which unfortunately wouldn't boot in my PS2. At least I got the Offspring CD out of the trip...

Anyway, while picking up Underworld tonight and a couple other DVDs, I got a new copy of the demo and played one game before putting one in. It's somewhat like NFL Blitz, but doesn't seem to move as fast.

The players look good, like jacked up charactures of their real life counterparts and have some fun animations. My passing game in Blitz is crap in exhibition these days, where I seem to get picked off literally every other pass. In this game, I took beat the Chiefs 21-0 in 14 minutes. The game is designed where you don't play against a clock, rather to a certain score, which is going to take some time getting mentally adjusted to.

I'm digging it. My wife works tomorrow night, so I'll likely play this some more and watch Underworld before digging back into FF X-2. I really need to finish the first trip through that before I get NFL Street or I may get distracted by the NFL Challenge mode for some time...
