DISCLAIMER: This may bring back memories if you are of a certain age.

Apparently, the two Cookie Monster tracks were released on a promo back in 1978 to coincide with the "Sesame Street Fever" LP. I want to say I'd actually HEARD the Larry Levan mix on one of the disco stations in El Paso, except I don't actually remember LISTENING to disco stations in El Paso when I was 7. Maybe one of my friends had taped it off the radio? Oh well, I got it NOW and that's what counts, baby

Jesus, does our generation do ANYTHING other than reminisce over how cool it was when we were kids?

Hey, the highlight of my week was finding my old Voltron action figures in my folks attic, so it's not like I'm any better than the next guy.

But the Sesame Street Fever LP has another Cookie Monster song, "Me Lost Me Cookie At The Disco."

How good is the song? I give it four gold medallions.

My hip-hop "band" sampled "Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco" for our very first single, "Suburban Rebel."

I believe that's the one. The greatest song ever written. No question.

"Me Lost Me Cookie" is one of my three year old son's fave songs these days. I downloaded it off Kazaa maybe a month ago.

If anyone has the artwork from the 'Sesame Street Fever' record (especially the inside photos) would be dying to see them. Will bring back some serious memories...
