hey...these are my continued thoughts on the gruesome game, Manhunt. Since I've been playing this game for a few days now I can give you some more thoughts regarding this excellent stealth/suspence 3rd person roamer.

First off you may not be aware of Manhunt's sound-alert radar. You do have a radar on the game. But, it only shows blips of sound. If a hunter (enemy) is talking or walks into a garbage can it will show up on your radar. This means that you don't know what's creeping around the corner unless you know it's there or it makes a sound alerting you to it's presence.

The game's major charm is the stealth. You creep from shadow to shadow hiding from hunters until the opportunity for an execution arrises. You keep your back to walls, hide behind dumpsters and cars and jump down laundry chutes to escape and hide from your enemies.

The story is really dark and scary. It's pretty good in thought, too. I wont go into it so I'll let you discover for yourself but, in a nutshell:your character is James Earl Cash(not at all a hero) convicted of murder and sebtenced to death..at your execution you're saved by the Director...giving a second chance..of sorts...

The big contoversy in the game and the thing that is making the most noice is the "executions." There are several different weapons in Manhunt ranging from plastic bags and wire to nailguns and crowbars. Each weapon has three executions ranging from simple to downright damn dirty. And, they are graphic. The most disturbing in any game, ever.

The game is sick. It is damn disturbing. But, it's fun and very scary. I haven't felt this conflicted about a game since Mortal Kombat. The gameplay is so greta and the game is so good that yuo play it for that..and witness the bloodshed in the meantime. Mortal Kombat desencetised. And, so will Manhunt.

I recomend Manhunt to some gamers. If you can't handle graphic scenes do not play this game. There were parts that even made me a little scweemish. The gameplay is good even if it is repetitive it still has enough suspence to keep you hooked.

If you like stealth-suspence thrillers with a realy, realy damn-dirty rough edge. Check it out.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR YOUR 12 YR OLD SON!!! I believe 17 and up is the age I would recomend.

If you've played Manhunt (as I dont know anybody else who has) please drop your two-cents...
