I'm not sure how this will play out on TV and not sure if Cena picked up the US Title but here's what happened.
Thanks to John Devlin of the UK Forces in Baghdad for the following:
Vince McMahon came out and talked about the troops, and their bravery for liberating Iraq.
After that serious moment, he was interrupted by Christmas music, and "Santa" came out to give the troops some presents. McMahon didn't get a present, then claimed Santa never stopped at his house when he was a kid.
McMahon then attacked "Santa" from behind, who then revealed himself to be Stone Cold Steve Austin, and then nailed McMahon with a stunner before having a few beers in the ring.
Matches taped for airing on December 25th on UPN and results:
APA defeated The Worlds Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas)
Rikishi defeated Rhyno
Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Benoit
John Cena defeated Big Show
I wonder if Stone Cold's comeback will be on Smackdown?? Or if he might have some role on both show's as a nemises or replacement to Vince. The Board of Directors meeting with Foley and Austin should be very interesting!
I hope Cena didnt win the US title. Although it definitely would be cool for the Christmas in Iraq broadcast, it should be something for the Royal Rumble as a PPV win would definitely boost Cena.
This Spoiler report is not complete without including... Dawn Marie, Sable and Torrie Wilson were all there in some form of a bikini type contest which Wilson was voted as the winner.
Nothing says comfortable holiday family viewing like seeing these 3 gyrating in bikinis... Well I guess I shouldn't expect the SD girls to do something as cool as the Raw girls did last Christmas

This has to be close to reaching record proportions on how long it takes a champ to defend the belt the first time. Hmm, Eddy vs. Benoit? I guess that means I'll be watching.
