This is fantastic, I am so buying this. Trish "I Just Want You"(I knew it!). Booker and Kurt singing songs (that should be fun... Lilian "You Just Don’t Know Me At All" (Oh please let me know you! LoL). The Guerreros having a duet. And John Cena giving us some basic thugonomics.
The only downer is why on earth does Stone Cold have 5 songs. I'm a huge fan of his bad singing but come on! give some others a some bad singing time... Especially when I read early reports that Ric Flair had an "the Nature Boy Orchestra" and Chris freakin Benoit had a track too. But it's not there now.
All and all this looks like fun, why didn't the release it before Christmas?
Christmas is the one time of year when people of all religions come together to worship Jesus Christ. - Bart Simpson
I still gotta have it for my collection though. It'd probably be better if I wait for it to end up in the bargain bin though...which shouldn't take long.
just wondering, NetHackSlasher, do you post/lurk at Divaboard? I was going to make the same exact post before I saw this. :)
I want this soooo bad for the pure cheese factor alone. With the exception of Jericho and Cena (who are somewhat legitimate artists) this whole thing definitely has the so bad it's good quality going on. I mean LITA? RIKISHI? STACY? ANGLE? How can it not be hilariously bad?
"No iniquity or cruelty can exceed our own if we pusillanimously ... surrender successive generations to a condition of wretchedness. Will you do in your life what will live forever?" - WARRIOR
The only way I'd buy this is if it had Booker T's rendidition of HBK's theme:
I'm just a Booka T BOOKA T! I'm not yo' sucka SUCKAAAAA!
While I'm thinking about it, didn't Lillian Garcia release an album recently? And isn't Cena supposed to have an album released next year? If they want those to be taken seriously, why on EARTH would they release this?
EDIT: Grubby, who's that in your sig? She looks familiar...

Los Guerreros and John Cena's contributions make this worth the purchase. Everything else does too...just for all the wrong reasons. Am I the only one who wants to see what a carwreck this whole album can turn into?
Admit it. You laughed too when you found out Brock was feuding with Sparky Plugg.
Originally posted by DarkRenegadeHas this been confirmed anywhere? Because it sounds like another phoney story, even the cover looks like it would be easy to make in Photoshop.
However, if this is real, I'll get it for the pure cheese factor...
Wrestling exists in the eternal present. What is, has always been, and when it no longer is, it never was. It has no past and no future, and sometimes even today is in question. - Madame Manga
What all this is screaming out for is a "tribute" album with all sorts of indie bands covering wrestling songs. Have them cherrypick the oddest songs from this album, along with classics from the original Wrestling Albums like "Grab Them Cakes" and "Piledriver" (the latter was actually half-decent IIRC). Oh, and maybe someone can even pull out the old Nitro tapes and do a cover of "Konnan's Music Video" (of course, this will only be entertaining if they actually list it as such).
If that sells, they can follow it with an album of covers of wrestler entrance music from David McLane's women's feds. P-A-T-T-I, P-A-T-T-I...
I was hoping for a real WWE CD with say their entrance songs!
Here would be a good list: Evolution John Cena Christian The Rock Test Kevin Nash Scott Stiener Batista La Resistance The World's Greatest Tag Team The Guerreros Rhyno Sean O'Haire Ultimo Dragon + others
