Well, it was shown to the world today. All I have to say is ehh. Why the hell does a team with a perfectly good uniform have to change things? I know so that fans have to go out and buy all new garb. The new logo is alright, but I FEAR the new jerseys. I have a feeling they will be carbon copy NFL style. I just wish someone would go XFL with their uniforms.
logo really did not change just color and a meaner seahawk, I was thinking of drastic change like the Bucs did a couple of years ago whenI first heard the rumor.
Click the pic for the full article, which has a neat flash animation of the new logo beating up the old one. The new colors are good, I just hope they stick with silver helmets.
EDIT:// You never know what a new logo can do....lookit my Pats.
I like the design of the new logo. It looks more stylish and meaner. But I don't like the color combo. Black and green looks good (are they copying the xbox colors b/c microsoft is in seattle?), but the gray/blue color looks out of place to me.
"Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs. Are you kidding me? Playoffs? I'm just hoping we can win a game, another game." - Jim Mora
I had thought they were just trying to rip off the Mariners' look, but the logo colors aren't as close as I though they would be. I hope the uniforms are still good because the old blue and silver look was tight and about the only thing good about the team for a long time.
Of course, if people hate the new look Holmgren can change the subject and say "Hey, I signed Dilfer, remember?"
The original I had looked like the mariner's colors too. The blue on top looks a little too much like black so far. I'll reserve full judgment until I see the new uni's and helmets tho.
Of course, that means I'm going to have to order a new customizable jersey #10 with Zorn on the back again this fall (I'm sure the wife will LOVE that one)
I dunno...Walls is 37 years old. Still, his signing doesn't bode well for Tyrone Davis. Gotta love how Walls turned down Snyder and the Redskins' $$$ for the chance to play with a winner in Titletown. I was much more impressed with Nick Barnett.
