While I am curious to hear if his drug addiction was the fault of the liberal media, Hillary Clinton, the homosexual lobby or some combination of the three, I really don't understand why anyone actually gives a shit what this draft-dodging racist pill-popper has to say.

Well, most classical liberals believe in personal responsibiliy. Most modern liberals don't know what those two words mean. Rush sounded different today. He sounded like he was really touched and affected by his rehab folks. He was on the subject of Ted Kennedy's actions. He said, "nobody can make Ted Kennedy change, only Ted Kennedy can make Ted Kennedy change." I found that pretty interesting. I really don't get 90% of the Rush haters. They HAVE NEVER listened to Rush!! Sure, most of them(especially on an anonomous internet board) will tell you they have. But most are plain lying! I remember when I was a sophomore in high school, I got into an argument about Global Warming with my English teacher. Somehow, Rush came up. She said she, "hated" him. I simply asked her why, she couldn't come up with an answer. She really looked puzzled, and said, "I don't know." I wish more people were that honest.
You Samoans are all the same. You have no faith in the essential decency of the white man's culture.
After reading that transcript, it was pretty much as I suspected...
Almost a text book case of Deins Leary's routine on celebrities who do drugs, go into rehab and come back out and be on the cover of Time Magazine..."Sorry! I Fucked up!"
This "feel sorry for people who intentionally screw up" ideology is the reason why Drew Barrymore is famous after ET.
I get sick of rewarding people for doing things that they were suppose to do in the first place!
Screwing up and then fixing it isn't noble. It's just setting things right. It's EVEN. Not above the call of duty, not below, but even.
And I have listened to Rush. And it doesn't take very long to realize his major flaw.
Being a complete tool for the Right. He's a shill. He does as he's told like a good little boy.
That's why I hold no stock in his opinions. Especially since it's obvious that his opinions are handed to him either directly or via paycheck.
I would like to congatulate Al Snow on his contact with La-Z-Boy. Because we all know Al doesn't sell chairs. - Mick Foley
Although I am not a big fan of his, I hope he does stay away from the pills. I've been sober for 10 years myself, and it's not easy. I know the road he has to travel, adn I wish him the best.
Attempted murder... really. Do they give a Nobel Prize for Attempted Chemistry?
