I know most people were ragging on it, but since CRZ's no longer recapping SmackDown, does anyone have a script of Vince's "invocation" last night? I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone did.
"For you see, I've been chosen. Yes, I've been chosen. I've been chosen by a higher authority, a greater power, I've been chosen! I've been chosen, I've been chosen to take this glorious quest, I've been chosen to take the Final Ride, I've been chosen to vanquish my foes, I've been chosen to slaughter the infidel! Yes, by god, I've been chosen to bury the Undertaker alive. Amen and AMEN."

Great. Either: 1) Vince just joined Al-Qaeda, or... 2) He's brining back the "Higher Power" gimmick from the Ministry of Darkness days.
Either way, we as a viewing audience are royally f*cked. Ye gods.
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

I got the impression that Vince (the character) has snapped under the strain and gone crackers. But then he's always been an obsessed megalomaniac, so I'm not sure that's any big change. I doubt he was specifically talking about the Ministry version of the 'Greater Power'--this is just Vince's standard idea of himself.
Well, either way, after reading that quote, [sarcasm]I'm REAL dissapointed I missed the show.[/sarcasm]
After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure... 1)I'm smarter than I was a year ago. 2)WWE isn't. 3) I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II. 1300 bitches and counting....
Oh, it’s not just the quote. It was the completely goofy expression on his face as he said it.
I have to wonder exactly who the heck he’s trying to market himself to. He’s turning into the wrestling equivalent of Michael Jackson – a once talented man reduced to a shell of his former self.
I dunno, I agree with Justin, I get a kick out of Vince and his crazy psychotic promos. I'd prefer if he were off my TV but nobody else could pull off promos like that.

But SCREW Bruce Mitchell - what did YOU think of it?
It was just embarrasing to watch. Can you imagine some new (potential) fan channel surfing when they come across a 3 minute long close up of Vince's nostrils while he does "Flastlight-Ghost-Face" and thinking 'Hmmm, this is something I want to be caught dead watching'

I'd take deranged Vince over horny Vince any week of the year... His promo was okay, but like I mentioned on the SD thoughts it really lost all impact when he asked for forgiveness for not what he's done but what he's about to do. Which is pretty much word by word is what the voice over was saying about Shane-Kane Survivor Series ad.
When Vince had all the light go out, was I the only one who thought we'd get to hear some eerie church music (if you know what I mean, and I think you do).
The main event gabfest was truly remarkable, but perhaps nowhere near as remarkable as the blossoming Bayley vs. Stephanie McMahon vs. Ronda Rousey feud.
