I saw a link for an online dating service, and I SWEAR the picture on the link was of Stacy Keibler (people with hotmail accounts can possibly testify).
I clicked, and it looks like her picture is there, bona fide.
I have seen this ad, and remember reading a news item somewhere that noted that it was a pic of Stacy (likely from her pre-WWE modeling days) that was on the ad. What I like is that the ad shows "actual members" of the service. I am just not quite buying that one.
I dunno... I'm going to have to lean towards no, but that pic is freakishly close. Either way, I bet that was provided by the same modeling services that pump shit out to hotornot.com so the amazingly sex-deprived can give them tens, while the spectacularly cynical give them ones simply BECAUSE they're models.
Geez, now I know I'm not crazy. That ad shows up often on Hotmail and the MSN front page, and every time I've seen it I've thought it was her.
"I do have a degree in electrical engineering... from almost 20 years ago. Punchcard systems were just becoming obsolete, we had rotary phones in the dorms, and a modem was still a gizmo the size of a shoebox into which you squooshed the phone receiver itself. In short, we lived like animals.
The instant obsolesence is why I became a writer. The rate of punctuation in a sentence doesn't double every 18 friggin' months, and you never have some 22-year-old looming over your shoulder, shaking his head, saying "dude... you're still using adverbs...?"
