Thanks to beating Rob Van Dam on RAW this past Monday, Chris Jericho becomes the second man to ever win the Intercontinental Championship 6 times. Tying the only other man to do it, Jeff Jarrett.
It would have ment a whole of a lot more if he got to keep it.

Jericho 6th reign, losing it back to RVD 10 minutes after winning it VS. Jarrett 6th reign, losing it to Chyna in a good housekeeping match... Advantage: Jericho (I think)
If you want to compare reigns, who has the advantage: Jarrett's "controversial" match with BOB "SPARK PLUG" HOLLY where the title was held up for a week, or Jericho's "co-champion" reign with Chyna?

Yea but reportedly Jeff Jarrett got $$PAID$$ for dropping it.

Chyna beat Jericho, so I'd give the nod to Jarrett. Or Chyna.

The shortest WCW/WWWF/WWF/WWE Title reigns:
Yokozuna (WWF Title; April 4, 1993) Beat Bret Hart, then lost to Hulk Hogan immediately after. Andre the Giant (WWF Title; February 5, 1988) Beat Hulk Hogan, then tried to sell title to Ted DiBiase (and got stripped of title as a result). Ric Flair (WCW Title; May 29, 2000) Kevin Nash had won the title and returned it to Flair, who lost it during the same show to Jeff Jarrett. Kevin Nash (WCW Title; January 25, 2000) WCW Commish Nash awarded himself the title and lost it to Sid on the same show. Sting (WCW Title; April 26, 1999) beat Dallas Page, then lost it back to Page in a 4-way match on the same show. Edge & Christian (WWF Tag Titles; March 19, 2001) E & C beat the Hardyz, then lost to the Dudleyz on the same RAW. Chris Jericho (IC Title; October 27, 2003) Beat RVD, then lost it back to him. Dean Douglas (IC Title; October 22, 1995) Awarded belt, then lost to Razor Ramon. Steve Austin (US Title; September 18, 1994) Awarded title after Ricky Steamboat forfeited, but lost to Jim Duggan the same night.
Maybe in the modern world of "sports entertainment," tag matches are seen more as a vehicle to get twice as many wrestlers on TV in half the time. Thus we always get those concocted tag matches that push two singles feuds.
