Feely, I'd like to know 1. If you bought the new OutKast CD, and 2. If you did, what do you think of the songs "Roses" and "Behold a Lady". I think that aside from Hey Ya, those have to be the standouts on Andre's disc.
"She's screaming like crazy...You have this myth you're sharing the birth experience. Unless you're passing a bowling ball, I don't think so. Unless you're circumcising yourself with a chainsaw, I don't think so. Unless you're opening an umbrella up your ass, I don't think so." --Robin Williams on birth
Geez, I'm recognizing more and more of the names on Feely's list. Either I'm becoming hipper or else Feely is selling out to the man.
Of all the gizmos forced upon us by the modern world, is any more melancholy than the leaf blower? The device is manifestly useless. It blows leaves from one place to another, and then the wind blows them back again. -- Roger Ebert
Watching that movie was like watching a young child be repeatedly punched in the face.-- my friend Dave after watching Bad Boys II
Your children will laugh when you're dead!-- Jason Robards in "A Thousand Acres"
I can tell you with no ego that this is my finest blade. If you should encounter God, God will be cut.-- Sonny Chiba in "Kill Bill: Volume 1"
I would gladly pay $10.00 to see a kangaroo kick the shit out of Jeff Jarrett.-- Bubblesthechimp
Ignoring the continued presence of the painfully overhyped Raveonettes on this list, I have to say this may be the best one yet from Feely. Anytime you get the swank REM song, Dropkick Murphys, Belle and Sebastian, Fountains of Wayne, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Outkast, BNL, Leona Naess, White Stripes, and Teegan and Sara on one list, you get my approval.
I buy a lot of music! I just download the singles, and then buy what I can at $9.99 or less. So I haven't gotten the OutKast album yet. Though the latest Ted Leo LP is ****3/4. Really!
Canadian? Sure. I would've gone to see them in Providence with Ima Robot for $16 US, but there wasn't a way to get back to campus. Plus I've heard HHH is awesome live.
Awesome. That's what I'll do then, Feely. It's $16.50 Canadian, so all I needs to find now is some folks to come with me so I won't be the crazy loner.
Well, I didn't expect to see the REAL Gene. I mean, this is FOX after all, so I was expecting one of those fat kids from "Me, Myself, and Irene." As for CoaDM, my theater carried it for ONE week, and I was working that Saturday.
