Well Eddie has lost both the US and tag titles. Now what are they going to do with him? I hope they're clearing him of all the titles so he can get a World Title run but who knows. THe Eddie and Chavo stuff seems reminiscent (sp?) of their WCW feud only in opposite roles. In WCW Eddie was the one who was always yelling at Chavo telling him to stay focused, etc etc, now it seems like Chavo is the one yelling at Eddie. Of course the WCW feud ending with Chavo snapping and talking to a horse. Anybody think Eddie could also snap eventually only making him more lethal and winning the World Title?
That's what I imagine happening. This building do the end atleast of Los Guerrero, with Chavo the dickish heel who keeps egging on Eddie...Eddie snaps, beats him in a battle of cheating, only for Eddie to go over cleanly in the end, and go on to the world title, or start after it.
If they're still serious about elevating Eddie to the main event, then there is still a way to build him up. Put him on the face side of a 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match and put him over Brock to set up a program for December.
All is not necessarily lost.
LS: Alright, we hardly gotten any airtime and we still aren't over. Anymore ideas? GD: Can you stare at your hand and spin on your head? Or better yet, we can have you shilling HUNGRY MAN DINNERS! LS: That...is very disturbing.

Remember, RAW has the December PPV. Next SD only PPV is February. And, if Eddy jobbing the US Title and being the one pinned to lose the tag titles is somehow a method of elevation, I'd hate to see what happens when they try to bury a guy.

Well both November and January are joint PPVs. That's 3 PPVs in the next 4 months before Wrestlemania that they can elevate Eddie (if they wanted him in a top spot for WM20). And anyway, even if Eddie is the one doing the jobbing, they're still focusing on him. He's not Zach Gowan, whose whole purpose seems to be to job to any midcarder who has a storyline. Eddie's two loses are a part of his storyline. Only time will tell if the story ends up bringing Eddie (and the WWE) success, or just ends up a dud.

Note to self:
The less I post, the fewer chances I have to look like an ass.
You would think it was spring in Arizona and we were Cubs fans watching the team getting ready for next year what with all this unfounded optimism in the room. What in the name of anything that we have seen on screen in the last few months would give anyone any reason at all to think that Eddie is being prepared for anything other than an extended feud with Chavo and a continued run as a sneaky midcard face? Other than some incredibly vague whispers about "Vince liking Eddie" and our own hopes that this isn't WWE just saying "okay, that's enough of that, let's give Big Show a belt now" what has happened to make anyone think about putting Eddie and World Title in the same sentence without a "will never ever ever come close to" somewhere in the vicinity?
bigtotoro, i agree that the chokeslams kind of turned kane face, as well as the fact that it was he and trips alone at the end had the fans behind him. Not to mention the fact that kane has always been so over.
