Have we all seen this year's Survivor Series commercial? (Those of us who FF through tapes or DVRs sometimes miss these things!) We open in a football locker room, with the coach calling his players prima donnas. The coach has a suprise for them out on the field: led by the Big Show, Cena, Farooq, Benoit, Mysterio, Bradshaw, Hurricane, Angle, D'Von & Bubba are ALL WALKING! Wrestlers beat up football players. (Yea!!) Shot switches to Vince, in the back of a limo, watching with binoculars. Ponders aloud, "The WWE & football ... naaaah!"
Meanwhile, the rest of Heat had some entertaining stuff...
Test vs Tommy Dreamer had some pretty good stuff. Naturally, Stacy's repeated, inept attempts to foil Test caused Tommy to lose. I'm still waiting for somebody to say to her, "Stacy, don't help me. I'm beggin' ya."
Now they've got Coach drifting off in yet another direction. (Pick a character for him -- I'm beggin' ya!) Tonight he was all Mr. Misogynist. Vince's personality rifts are deliberate -- I don't think this is.
Val explained about the Venis Cam from last week. Not only is he continuously searching for the hottest chicks, but he's also searching for "the All-American Super Stud". Now I would have sworn that last week, he was mostly focusing on Lance. Lance does always keep his studly area discreetly padded -- maybe Val knows what Lance is hiding there. Woooo! ;-)
Good match between Val & Eric Young. Val gave the guy a pretty nice set of offence against him, including taking a big DDT. And the chick who got his towel was all set for him to whisk her off to the locker room.
Al to Coach: "In case you forgot, we don't work on Raw any more." Al is only still slightly bitter about this.
Dudleys vs La Res v.2 (Conway & Dupree, with Grenier on the side) was mostly quite entertaining, in spite of a couple of "eeeek" spots. I like Conway, & I still think Dupree is fine, especially for a baby-kins.
Given my friend the FastForward button, a perfectly nice show.
Have you seen the poster for survivor series, it has shane falling, and it says something like "fall from grace." it looked pretty cool, but i don't know how kane and shane will top unforgiven.
Go ahead, do it You have sexual needs (needs), desires (desires) You want to, you need to, do it for you When was the last time you did something, for you? (indulge) We all know this is a physical thing, it's not like you're going to leave your wife (physical) Look at it this way, it will make your relationship stronger in the end What she doesn't know, wont hurt her (bliss) You'll apprecriate your wife more (appreciation) You play your cards right, you might even learn a few things (A+) And believe me, your wife will thank you later (thanks) I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.
I'm all for giving SNH more backstage stuff/interviews. But why oh why does it have to be with Val... I'm sorry, his character is just not hitting me on any level.
Heat has not been the same since the deemphasis Stevie Night Heat. I know they been promoted to Raw recently but their backstage skits on Heat were the best... I heard two stories on why they kinda pulled back on it these past few months (1) Because Stephanie didn't like it (I don't necessary buy that one) or (2) Al Snow turned heel so he couldn't be the fodder for Stevie (That I could see a reason, but you can always have them do this to someone else, Garcia is backstage during Heat doing nothing. They could have put her in place of Snow).
This week show didn't do much for me. Hasn't for a while... I remember 3 months ago I was really into Heat, so much so that I was a little upset it was pre-emptied due to the Smackdown PPV, but as we are approaching another SD PPV I could really care less if Heat is on or not
