Speaking of, the new Smackdown game just went Gold. Exciting stuff.
As for the Half Life 2 code...yeah. Well, first off, as was said earlier, unless you know what you're doing with it, you can't do anything with it. It's just a huge chunk of text. Even if you could do something with it, we'll see how well it turns out pieced together by a hacker.
I'm just really shocked that security on this wasn't tighter. I mean this is a tens of millions of dollars game here, they knew better than that. But, what can you do, I guess. The thing they have to worry most about is securing their multiplayer networks to assure customers that hackers can't raid Steam through the security holes shown in the coding.
Wisconsin Badgers: 5-1 (Penn State may not be as bad as they looked against Wisconsin's offense, but man our defense looks like crap.)
Minnesota Vikings: 5-0 (Forget Indy and Tampa, THIS was the comeback game of the week.)
As if downloading the source code wasn't bad enough, supposedly running the "beta versions" will get you some virii, trojans, or worms (halflifesource.com) for your efforts.
This is just all kinds of bad.
