Okay, I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, since I didn't watch Tough Enough very much, but: what were the names of the two Tough Enough 3 winners, and whatever happened to them after their debut match? I remember them getting punked out by Tommy Dreamer, and never hearing from them again. Does this mean that WWE has given up on Tough Enough altogether? I tried checking Google, but no luck. If anyone can answer my question, I think I can finally sleep a little better at night.

OVW is actually following up on a TE3 storyline by having Matt face Bob Holly.

You know, I'm no fan of Bob Holly, but by all accounts he's one of the last guys you'd want to stiff. Everyone who's ever had something to say about him says he's a legit tough guy who hits like a ton of bricks. Spike Dudley said one of the worst bumps he ever took was just taking Holly's finisher.
Why does Holly do that, in terms of hitting guys real hard and that sort of thing? I thought he was a jackass for what he did on Tough Enough to Matt, but at least you could possibly justify that he was trying to get him ready for the business. But why try to inflict more pain than necessary on Spike Dudley? It warms my heart that the only show Bob Holly will ever headline is in OVW.

The reason Holly is in OVW is to re-hab from an injury. I would expect him back on WWE TV in the near future. I'm far from his biggest fan but if you want to talk about guys who are "stiff", RVD has had that reputation too. Although in his case it seems to be accidental while Holly possibly has done it on purpose a few times.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Holly got injured by Brock. He supposedly was working stiff against Lesnar and Brock didn't appreciate it and returned the favor.
Thank you all for keeping the "Curse of the Bambino" myth going. My kids went to college on the money I made from that.
IIRC, Holly wasn't particularly enamoured with the notion of such a "rookie" competitor being the WWE Champion and set out to give Brock the hardest time possible in their match. Rather stupidly he thought it'd be a good idea to sandbag it whilst taking a powerbomb, which of course led to Brock doing as good a job as possible of executing the move without Holly's assistance. Voila! Instant-career threatening injury.

It's what he knows. Jim Cornette had a story from back when Bob was a SMW jobber. Ricky Morton asked him during the match to hit him as hard as he could. Holly asked why. Morton responded, "Because your working punches are killing me."

The grudge match between Holly & Matt Capetelli aired on OVW's weekly show last night, but ended with mucho interference.
I'm guessing there will be a rematch next week when Leviathan (Bautista) makes his return to aid the other TEIII winner John Hennigan in a match against the Discyples of Synn.
John and Matt have been wrestling as a tag team called "Tough Enough," but Matt had other fish to fry once Holly showed up.
