Should be an interesting match. I heard the term "Blood" being used tonight which makes make wonder how many times will Vince blade himself or even better will Steffo actually blade herself? Will Steph do some high jumps like her brother Shane? Will Vince make Steffo's boobs explode? If Vince quits does Vince lose his job?
If the answer is yes then I definetly believe that this could be the match of the year. We have seen Shane put on some good matches. Now is the time for Steph. to goto the extreme.
If they keep hyping the fact that McMahon could do this to Steph, and Steph gets very little offense in, and Steph actually, you know, WINS, then this could be a nice little brawl, taking about 10 minutes out of our lives. Unfortunately, they'll try more wrestling moves that Benoit and Angle combined, Steph will look like a million bucks, and Vince will win. Such is the state of WWE.
Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.
Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.
Not sure about Steph winning, as she will be on HHHoneymoon in the near future. What I am expecting is the norm for McMahon matches - ref bumps, interference and screwy soap opera booking.
...full of energy. Multi-orgasmic, if you will, in a cosmic sort of way."

Man if this isn't the quote of the year, I dunno what is!
There is something messed up if you want to see any of this. Male-on-female violence is uncomfortable to watch on the whole, but the WWE to be building up to a match where the owner of the company is whaling on his daughter is absolutley deplorable. If people are wondering why people outside of wrestling are horrified by him and his company, THIS IS WHY!
This may be really bothering me at the moment because in the UK, we have had the case of a Muslim father killing his daughter because she was becoming too 'Western' for his liking, but honestly, come away from the 'storyline'. Come away from your knowledge of wrestling. A man is offering people the chance to watch him beat up his daughter for $40.

This match has creepy written all over it...i remember on raw after no way out when vince and steph were in the ring, and steph got on her knees to plea with daddy...i can't imagine what's going to happen in this match...
Go ahead, do it You have sexual needs (needs), desires (desires) You want to, you need to, do it for you When was the last time you did something, for you? (indulge) We all know this is a physical thing, it's not like you're going to leave your wife (physical) Look at it this way, it will make your relationship stronger in the end What she doesn't know, wont hurt her (bliss) You'll apprecriate your wife more (appreciation) You play your cards right, you might even learn a few things (A+) And believe me, your wife will thank you later (thanks) I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.
Well, usually I'm not too creeped out by intergender wrestling matches at all. I've seen some matches like from Japan, and much of them are scientific matches between two WRESTLERS. But, this is Vince McMahon, chairman of WWE, part time wrestler, taking on his daughter Stephanie (soon to be Mrs. HHH, damn her), who only wrestles about three times a year on average. They aren't formally trained wrestlers. I'm more creeped out by the fact that this is a father vs. daughter match between two non-wrestlers, although the father-daughter thing isn't too comforting either.
But, instead of poopin' on the WWE's parade like I have been doing for the last few weeks, I'd say just let them do what they want. It's their company. I know it sucks, and I agree, but I got far too much pride to bemoan the obvious...again.
After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's two things I know for sure... 1)I'm smarter than I was a year ago. 2)WWE isn't. 1200 bitches and counting....
Hell, I can't stand when Steph is on screen for simple GM-type speaking roles, so you can imagine what I think of this match. *Especially* if Matt Hardy is *again* left w/ nothing to do for the PPV.
For the WWE to actually make this good they could do this after Taker vs Brock, having Brock win. Then something like have Vince claim he's "too hurt" too wrestle due to Taker chokeslamming him through a table or something the previous Smackdown, so his replacement is Brock. Brock comes out, F-5's Stephanie to get her out of commision for a while, Brock picks her up to another move, but before he can Benoit runs out and beats down Brock (fresh off of beating A-Train) and puts him in the Crossface to kick off a Brock vs Benoit fued.

Hey, that'd make for some apropos wedding photos. Daddy walking the bride down the aisle, both with matching scars &/or bandages across their foreheads. ;-)
Creepy is a good adjective. They just keep insisting on rehashing the whole abusive father backstory. Which is about as nauseating a theme as I can think of.
I'm OK on principle with (consensual!) inter-gender matches. If Shaniqua wants a match with Bradshaw -- go for it. (Well, OK ... that's probably not a match that I want to see, but ... you know what I mean.) Ivory, Victoria, Stevie & Tommy all playing together is great. But calling something a match when it's just gender-based physical abuse is simply not OK.
Ohhh how exciting. Interesting this is sponsored by Subway, I ate a Subway sandwich today and it really didn't go well and I had a "BigShow" moment (sorry for the discription). Which is pretty much what I think of this feud and match.
WWE really has some nerve after their last PPV with a one week bait and switch of the "announcers leave Raw" stipulation. The very next PPV they are doing Steph quits she's not GM stipulation... Do they get off seeing how obnoxious they can be.
Originally posted by CajunManOkay I got somewhat carried away last night. But honestly who would not want to see Steffo's boobs explode or even a bloody Steph?
As long as A-Train doesn't offer color commentary,I'm keen to anything happening in this match!

Isn't there a renewed push to have guys on house shows wearing bandages and the like to sell injuries from the TV shows? Somebody should remind them of the new policy.
Anyway, if there ever was a PPV to boycott, this has to be it. Not that this match will get any of the blame, mind you. I'm going to say that Vince gets hit in the nuts at least twice for her "offense". Whether one of those two times is by Linda, I can't guess.
