Why, Grady, why? Why do you insist on giving all of Red Sox nation a combined heart attack? 130 pitches? I hope we don't need Pedro again until the ALCS.
Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.
Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.
That gave you a heart attack? If I'm you, I want Pedro to pitch until the game is over. I'm an A's fan and I was worried until I saw Kim and his gas can trot onto the field, at which point I knew we'd be OK.
Well, I should have known that it would take a historic defeat to cap this night off. A suicide squeeze in the 12th inning? That sounds about right. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go scream into a pillow and cry myself to sleep.

That was one of the best games I have seen in a long time. Best game so far these playoff. Too bad Bud is a slave of TV and set it up so this game ended at almost 3AM here. Well off to find some Coffee

Lowe should come back for Game 3, as he hadn't pitched since last Thursday, so he comes back on 2 days for Game 3 and considers this game his side session. OF course, his body language at the end of the game reminds me of all those wonderful nights in 2001 when he imploded, and concerns me about his mindset for Saturday Night. Knuck-Knuck must save us now.

There's a small chance that it could be considered a Stomach Punch, but considering I didn't see the game, I can't make that claim. Maybe someone who saw it could.

Because Timlin has the habit of pitching a lights out inning, followed by a lead-off home run in the next inning. See game against Phillies in June and on September 1st for examples of this.

Kim has the habit of blowing important games.
I would have stayed with Timlin, or put Arroyo in when Kim started looking shaky.
Anyway, today sucked even more than last night. What the hell is wrong with our batters? And why can't Wakefield be consistant when it counts? Would have been an awesome showing if it wasn't for that fucking 2nd inning.
I've got to rank it as the Guillotine, since I think everyone figured it'd be extra innings (at least) after Kim came in.
