Does anyone else scream change the channel more than Rikishi does these days? People talk about the Hardy's and the Dudley's being stale, but c'mon, Rikishi is way worse than either of those teams. His tired act is played over and over again. Outside of popping the crowd with the stinkface, this guy is just plain boring. I used to get excited when he came out, but now it's just "yawn, here we go again". They really dropped the ball with this guy. Perhaps he is an example of not capitalizing on something when it was time to really go with it.

Agreed. Rikishi seemed like he had such a bright future when he had that title match with Triple H on Smackdown! back in late '99 or early 2000. But ever since him being revealed as the driver it's all been downhill. Maybe it's all the injuries he's had that has killed him. I just can't put my finger on it. At least Booker went over him CLEAN tonight. It's worth keeping him around for a JTTS, I guess.

I did like his interview on Heat when he talked about "the power of the ass" as opposed to the power of the punch. Rikishi is just lost in the shuffle like a lot of other people. That's what happens when you have enough people on the roster to fill at least two promotions.

I've always kinda dug Rikishi in the past. I thought his mini-thing with Angle when he came back was going to go somewhere, but what WTF13 says is true: he's just another with nothing to do. Nowadays once the main eventers have filled most of the spots on TV there isn't much left, and it's the lower down guys that lose out first.

I miss the Rikishi Driver too, that was neat. I guess safety has to come first though, so if all piledriver variations are out then so be it.

The Rikishi/Venus in white trunks feud ruled! It was violent, insane and the man jumped off the cage! Put the pants on the guy and make him heel.

The Best Damn Sports Show Period had a roast of John Kruk this evening. Taking part was the King of the World Chris Jericho. His spot was brief, but he had a couple of funny things to say. I guess he's friends with Kruk or something.
