Say...Shane is in good shape to face Kane by now?? We all now that theres a script and story lien for this Feud...but come on...we still we have some logical precepts... Fell from that structure in Unforgiven must hurt a bit....(there was kind cool, and kind dangrous...remember when Droz loose his leg's movility after a power bomb delivered by D'Lo Brown) also receive some electrical charges in the nuts must hurt....

Do this guy have the Mick Foley recovery factor or what???

I wonder if he still can lift his "friend" after that
electro-charges ..if not, we just found why is he so piss off with kane.....whatever! , theres the Viagra pills ...

Stop that hate feud now, its kind dangerous, kind looooong, and i preffered to see a history line to face the monster Kane against the new champ Goldberg !!
cheers

You know something's screwed up when I laugh looking at pics of Stacy's puppy dog face with Test. She looks so sad, LOL! See? It's not doing it's job.

You know, I'm actually kind of enjoying this extended Steiner-Test feud. Mainly because it makes them be involved in 1 match instead of 2.
But they need to get a bit more creative. I will admit that I was rooting for Test, just because I wanted to see Steiner become his "manservant".

My problem with this feud is just the simple fact that Kane can blast through all the wrestlers in the WWE, and make RVD look like a total jobber. But then get his ass handed to him by Shane "I'd Be Nothing More Than A 30 Year Old Backyard Wrestler If It Wasn't For My Daddy" McMahon. It's quite ridiculous.

Oh, and throw me into the group that is sick of the Test/Steiner feud. This and the Booker T/Christian feud (which I've heard they are going to re-start once Booker is healed) have gone on WAAAY too long, and I don't know why the WWE writers are having so much trouble writing an end for them.

It must be because they're drawing copious amounts of cash for the company.

Seriously, though, Steiner/Test keeps them in the same ring so they can't stink up any other programs, and it rarely runs more than ten minutes on Raw. I'd prefer to see both of them on Heat, but at least the crap is consolidated.

Booker/ Christian never clicked. Actually, I don't think Christian ever clicked as IC Champ. I've found him to be lethally boring- he seems like a cut-rate Jericho. people around here seem to love him, but I think he needs to drop the strap, post haste. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an RVD win tonight. I'd like to see RVD with the belt. I'd also like to see him kick the shit out of Shane McMahon, just on principle.

I think the Book should come back heel and feud with Goldberg for a couple of months.

Doesn't look like the Steiner/Test feud is ending any time soon. Instead, could a new heel woman-beating tag team be in the works? That might actually be interesting, as I was a big fan of Steiner's heel character towards the end of WCW.

As far as Christian never clicking as IC champ, well, he did and he didn't. The seeds were there for him to take off as a Honky Tonk Man-esque champion, but instead he was an afterthought who never really got any attention after he got the belt back except as Jericho's goofy sidekick.

Finally, on Shane vs. Kane (that was the thread at one point, right?)...yeah, it's played. They shoulda had Kane chokeslam Shane off the set at Unforgiven rather than just having Shane try a flying elbow. I liked this idea as a feud because I was sure it was being done to have Kane destroy a big name (let's face it, Shane is) who can take a massive bump (Shane does) and make Kane look like an unstoppable monster without having to sacrifice another uppercard guy to him the way they did RVD. And that could still happen when Shane gets back on TV so I'll hold off final judgment, but that had damn well better be the payoff to this story or they've wasted a lot of time.

I enjoyed the Kane/Shane feud for one reason ... I knew that it meant Shane would take a sick bump ... that's happened so they need to move on.

I'm still enjoying Shane/Kane for the time being. Shane's invariably entertaining in the ring and he provides a decent foil for Kanes current gimmick, with the indestructable moster going against the guy who'll do anything to stop him.

At the back of my mind I worry slightly about how the feud will end though. It would be ridiculous to have Shane stop Kane so early on his rampage when there are so many attractive avenues open to him after this if he comes out on top. But on the other hand I gues if I wasnt a tad smarky I'd probably be wanting Shane to kick his ass by now.

Oh YES!! That feud was so cut off in its prime. Those guys just weren't given enough ring time together for them to click [/sarcasm]

Steiner/Test has finally moved up from 'mind numbingly boring' to 'sleep inducing' however.

I was thinking more like Jeff Jarrett '99 x 2...characters, rather than just two guys doing the same spot every week.

Prior to the split PPV's, a lot of fans were screaming out for longer feuds like "the old days". Well, now we have it. Personally I think it is working pretty well.

There's a difference between a well booked lengthy feud that builds to an interesting culmination and a feud that's just long because the writers have no other ideas. I'd have lumped the Steiner/Test feud in with the latter a week ago, but with this new twist of a Steiner heel turn, I'm willing to wait and see where it goes. The twist should have come six weeks ago, though, because they did kill just about all interest in that angle by stretching it out so long.

I agree that it hasn't been booked greatly from week to week. I still like the idea of long (er) feuds. If they gave Steiner or Test a dominating, clean win to end the feud it will mean so much more, although i'm not holding my breath. I only actually watch the PPV's and not the TV so from a personal standpoint, I enjoy the longer feuds as to me it means so much more when it comes around to PPV. Going off on a slight tangent, I would have prefered to have seen a heel Test getting the rub and working a program with Goldberg rather than Steiner feuding with Goldberg.

Goldberg vs. Test isn't a bad idea if they're actually gonna get behind him and push him. If they do that, the fact that Test hung with Goldberg helps him. If they don't, it portrays Goldberg as just another guy. Test is stronger now than he was pre-Steiner feud, but he's not strong to the point that he can get squashed by Goldberg without getting torn down drastically in the fans' eyes.

If you don't watch the TV it's tougher to get a feel for the development of the feuds. Reading recaps isn't the same (at least, not for me). I'm with you in that I like feuds that get time to develop, but Steiner/Test quickly became Bulldog/Warlord from '91...it went on forever, but time didn't make it any better.

On the contrary, I don't think Goldberg/Test would be a good idea (at least right now). Test gets no heat whatsoever unless Stacy is around.

So I was going through some old tapes and found one I had bought awhile back that was full of Japanese Garbage wrestling (I wanna say it was IWA or Big Japan). It had a lot of crazy shit like matches with cactuses (not Jack), and barbed wire.
