The St Louis Blues have opened up thier training camp to the public. They are allowing fans to come in, see practice and they also get to see two scrimmage games a day. I went today and was amazed at the speed of the game. I had previously only been to Minor League games, so I was totally in awe of thier speed and skill.
I think most of them open up their camps. I've been to a few Canucks practices because they used to practice at the same 8 Rink Complex that I did. It's really amazing to see because even the "worst" players are so much better then you'd ever think.
I think hockey would be more popular in the US if more people had the chance to just go to one NHL game.

Does any other NHL club offer this to thier fans?
Actually the blues have been doing this for years as well. At least since they moved into their new practice rink in I believe 1995.

THis is the first time they have done it at Savvis Center though, correct?
Besides, who wants to drive all the way out to Chesterfield to watch them practice? Well, I guess I would actually.

hooray. ponied up the $15 to watch on the computer today (since I didn't get Center Ice this year). Det/Tor was a good game with flukey goals. sadly, the wrong team won. :> Mon/Ott looks to be a blowout.
