Let HHH win this one, let him punk out goldberg, and send him packing, only to see the G-Man appear over on smackdown, where, lets face it, hes a better fit (but then again, who isnt a better fit over there?)

But then who's honestly left on the roster that could possibly stand up to HHH storyline-wise and beat him for the title? Everyone's seemingly been squish-squashed to the point where the only ones who the fans buy into having ANY sort of chance, are Goldberg and Stone Cold. And Stone Cold can't wrestle, I'm assuming.....

It was explicitly part of the retirement stipulation that GB couldn't just move to some "second rate promotion like Smackdown."

Then do a Yellow Dog like angle

Or a Mr. America angle. Goldberg can be Mr. Israel

Seriously, it's time to get the belt off of Triple H. Goldberg is as good as anyone, let's just get it done.

The fact that they've put so much money and (over the past couple months) time into Goldberg means they have to give him a title run. They maximize their return on the investment by doing that, and that will tell them just how much value Goldberg really has. The increasing ratings before the football season started tells me that there is value there, so why not buck the trend and actually pursue what people want to see?

I think its a no brainer that Berg will go over now, it has been set up REALLY well.

The most interesting aspect of the night will be the reaction of the live crowd to Berg winning. If they get anything half as good as the night Berg beat Hogan in Atlanta, then HHH's title reign as well as the set up to this feud, will have to be considered a great success.

Barring a tremendous fuck up, I bet the crowd will pop huge.

Trips is probably looking at this like he has something to prove. He'll approach the match like he did his Raw TV main event against RVD where Rob looked great. Or his tag match with Austin against Benoit and Jericho. He's going to bust his ass to make Goldberg look good.

I hope HHH gets you fired.

Despite what I said last month, I think it's a given that's Goldberg's gonna win this one.

BUT - the dq/countout stip is weird. Now, I'm interested in HOW HHH drops the belt, if there's any sort of face-saving measure involved. I'll be surprised if it's a pinfall.

Here in Pittsburgh, they are advertising the October 13 RAW as Goldbergs first Pittsburgh appearance on the tv commercials.

I kinda hope that Goldberg does win..... if for no other reason than i would love to see a Jericho/Goldberg program, and more so a Kane/Goldberg program.

It seems that Kane and Goldberg are running on seperate bad ass pushes (Kane more so), but the reality is is that if they're gonna make Kane into an unstoppable killer, i wanna see him go against Goldberg if for nothing else than it is two people who look unstoppable in a feud.

Wait, we could have a total switch. Us smarks would gladly cheer Berg winning, ok some of us would, ok ok a few of would, and the regular marks know how lured into wresting the regular marks are, they'll probably boo Berg and Cheer H. Just like the Rock/Lesner thing.

Yummy?
