Last I remember he was using his face protector as a foreing object to beat his opponents. I saw him in Wrestlemania XIX on GameCube and wondered where he went. I liked that guy.

Last I head, it was a concussion and he's recovering fully before stepping back into the ring. That's too bad, too, because he always entertained me. He's a great irritating heel that you want to see just get the crap beat out of him.
Nowinski has Post-Concussion Syndrome. Kevin Von Erich had it in the mid 80s, and it kept him out of the ring for months.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. - The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

LoL Kilborn, Nowinski, singer from Queens of the Stoneage. All look the same to me,
Nowinski is a good wrestler, at times he falls under the "not big enough to be considered a power wrestler. Not small enough to be considered a speedster". But on the most part he is a decent wrestler.
But Nowinski biggest plus is his mic work and his entire character. I still giggle at the thought of when Nowinski said "No one want's to see violence, these people don't want to see you beat me up" Crowd Pops, Nowinski answers "SEE!, they agree with me. There saying Yeah Chris! You're right Chris!"... I've never seen a heel interrupt a crowd reaction to his advantage like that before. I found that hilarious.
What exactly is post concussion syndrome and what exactly Lasik surgery? actually that may be a problem with WWE at the moment These two guys may not be the best wrestlers in the world but they do throughly enterain although from what ive heard on the wiernerboard velocity has been meant to enteraining and Kane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
U know it's good to play a spoof character of Goldust. I'm not crazy! Oh no! OOOOOHHHHH! Taffdust!
Lasik Eye Surgery is when they use lasers to correct your vision so you don't need glasses anymore. As for Post Concussion Syndrome, I'm not sure. ^_^;

Apparently 'Kish went off to get his eyes fixed without notifying his employers, which isn't the best course of action when your contract is running out.
...full of energy. Multi-orgasmic, if you will, in a cosmic sort of way."
PCS is a specific set of neuropsychological (thinking, behavioral, and emotional) disorders caused by traumatic brain injury, aka concussion.
From what I read, it sounds like the mental effects resulting from the concussion don't clear up as they normally do.
As bad as this is, and I do hope Nowinski recovers, there's some real irony in the fact that the WWE's only Harvard graduate is side-lined with a brain injury.
Surprise, surprise, he was hurt by The Dudleyz. What are the odds of that happening? In retrospect, I'm surprised that Edge, Christian & the Hardy Boyz all managed to escape the TLC matches alive.

Understandable, a good looking guy like Rikishi wouldn't want to go around with those little marks on the side of your nose that glasses give sometimes... He doesn't want to be walking down the street and have non-wrestling fans look at him and the first thing they notice is and say to their friend "shhh, look at that guy, you can tell he wears reading glasses, see the little markings on the side of his nose". Guy like Rikishi doesn't want to bring attention to himself.

Do you doubt the ability of big men to be inconspicuous? I'm hide and seek champion at the Y, and I'm 6'4", 300 lbs.
And to confirm your suspicions, I met Vince McMahon at a playground, and while on the swings, he gave me a push because I was a big man.
Okay, sorry, my rediculous and peculiar sensors are kinda faulty.
Kane gets flustered that he didn't get to do something silly this week. Ho hum.

“There’s no doubt I’ll recover,” he said. “I make obvious progress. When I feel good, I feel like I can get back in the ring. I just know that the longer I take, the safer I am from getting another bad shot. People do have to retire from concussions, but they usually have more than I do. Bret might’ve taken one bad one at the end, but I’m sure that as long as he wrestled, he had a lot before then.”
