While we're on the subject. I was at Summerslam last weekend, and was also at Heat which was taped righ tin front of America West Arena. I was right up front, only a couple feet from Al and Coach. Al has always been one of my favorite wrestlers. I pointed at him and he nodded at me. He interacted with the crowd a bunch during commercial breaks, but sometimes would ignore people yelling at him. That's about it.

I met Mick Foley at a Robot Wars show I got his autograph and he said 'Good Luck' which was very nice (I was hanging with the Behemoth guys)

U ARE KATIE! You love Marc L(oyd) and Mark L(eadbitter) (lol) and for a while thought Tom Lenk was sexy (poor girl...) now you are more of a Spanky or Harper lover (although you do have this thing for nerdy guys...) You also like Wheatus, Wheatus hats and David Attenbourgh! Most people who will read this will probably know you as the Purple Pixie!

I shook hands with Raven this weekend at Atlanta's DragonCon. Nice guy, pleasant to talk with. I also talked to Virgil and caught a glimpse of Roddy Piper. They were all selling autographs. Piper had a line, but you could walk right up to Virgil and Raven.

I bet when you met Al Snow he was all nice to you and everything. Then when you turned your back, he probably threw you into the ringpost. Idiot!

Brushes w/ greatness:

Grappled w/ Dean Malenko who was visiting the Malenko school in Tampa (Joe's the head instructor/owner, Jumbo Barreta's the guy who works with the rookies and guys with a little experience). He was AMAZINGLY fast, especially considering the bad knees, shoulder and back!

Met Kendall and Barry Windham at Guavaween in 1996 and 1997. They were hanging out on 7th Ave, just outside of Harpo's both years and I lost count after 7 beers with them. Quite the drinkers, they are! Only wish Blackjack Mulligan was in the house...

A short poll: Of the folks who have met RVD, who partook of the sweet, sweet cheeba with Mr. 420? :-)

Two hours later they decided to stop at a diner
Because they loved the smell of eggs and coffee
I just had to smoke a cigarette and wear a hat
By the time that they set off again, the sun was starting to set
It made the sky look red like a nuclear ray
One of them said "what do you want more than anything
in this whole wide world
Do you want money, do you want sex, or do you want all that success?"
I thought about that one myself
(Then they came upon the thing)

brush w/ greatness:

about a week before the 1st tough enough finals show i met the entire final 5 and al snow in a store i used to work at in the mall. a quick summary of the people involved:

Al Snow: super cool guy, i sold him a shirt, and did the "customer service" deal by looking for the right size of the shirt. (it was a long sleeve spider man shirt; in case you had to know.)

Maven: also nice and was joking around with all the rest of the people.

Josh: total ass, so much so that some ICP fan wanted to "fuck him up" in the parking lot because Josh was acting "disrespectful" or whatever.

Chris: kinda hung in the background, so no gauge of personality.

Nidia: also super cool, she signed an autograph for me for a friend of mine, and actually took the time out to call the dude on her cell to say hello.

Taylor: seemed very very weirded out by people coming up to her.

and that's the story.

I actually met Chris Harvard, really nice guy but seems like one of those dudes that doesn't wanna be noticed (when I knew who he was he seemed kinda shocked that I knew who he was). He must be taking classes in Boston b/c I met him while I was walking a college campus. But nice guy, stopped and signed an autograph and made a joke about asking him to sign one of my flash cards. I guess he is out with a concussion that he can't shake when I asked him why he hasn't been on TV. A kid I know actually went to wrestling school with him and said he is a totally nice guy but he is really quiet. I am shocked that he drove a Honda Accord, I figured those dudes would drive like a sweet SUV or something.

I also met A-Train once, who shockingly has a pretty hot g/f, when I went up to him he just stared at me and signed a piece of paper for me. These 2 kids came up to him and were completely marking out, I thought he was gonna Baldo Bomb both of them looking at his face.

Wasn't Terry #7 in the last rankings and #10 now, meaning he dropped? I don't watch TNA as much as I'd like but I believe he was #7 in the last rankings.
