"Possibly spoilers, although things change weekly if not daily. Here are the bullet points:
- Goldberg to win title at Unforgiven
- Orton to face Michaels at Unforgiven
- HHH to regain title at Survivor Series
- At about that time, HHH turns face, since he gets mostly cheers anyway (yeah, being booked as Superman does that)
- Face HHH aligned with face Flair
- HHH feuds with Randy Orton to pull him up to that level
- Orton the leader of a new young heel stable (foreshadowed with the talk of cockiness on Maven's part Monday night on commentary, as Maven is a leading candidate for the new group)
- Orton's push patterned after the Rock's (third generation similarities, plus Rock broke out after telling Faarooq to "know your role" in NOD and it will be similar between Orton and HHH)"
============= I really don't think HHH as a face works. And if this is true why not keep Flair heel to be with Orton since he will need Flair more than HHH will?
Stewie Griffin: No sprinkles! For every sprinkle I find, I shall kill you!
Yep, those sound like spoilers all right... I find it odd that about half of the 'spoilers' reported involve HHH. Is this a ruse supposed to make him look bad or something?
Well, it doesn't sound like a particularly interesting program comming up. I doubt it'll make me start watching again.
I support HHH's current title reign. I think it has been executed perfectly despite being critical of it in the past it is so much clearer now. The World Heavyweight Title is the ONLY title that matters in the WWE.
Arguments that the careers of RVD, Kane and Booker have suffered due to jobbing to HHH are exaggerated. Fans have short term memories and are willing to forget past failures, as evidenced by Kane's turnaround.
But I would absolutely not be able to stomach another HHH reign.
Of course, its all just speculation. Wild at that probably as well.
- Orton the leader of a new young heel stable (foreshadowed with the talk of cockiness on Maven's part Monday night on commentary, as Maven is a leading candidate for the new group)
"Team Green".
So, basically, they'll give Goldberg a short title reign, then drop him out of the ME scene like so many before him. Like Goldberg or not, he's over, and it wouldn't be wise to give him a token reign only to put HHH over as a face to feud w/ Orton (who nobody really cares about, anyway).
Smells like bullshit to me. 1. The writers aren't showing any long-term planning past the three or four shows that are squatting directly in front of them at this time. 2. Most of makes little to no sense whatsoever. 3. The company are apparently incredibly high on slotting another Jericho title reign into this Fall.

And the problem with that is...?
Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.
Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.
I didn't say there was a problem with it-I love that idea. My point was that there seems to be no room for that in this "plan" being laid out above.

I'm still skeptical about Goldberg ever getting the title. But I do think HHH will be dropping the title soon. Three thoughts:
1. HHH already has the longest World Title reign in the company since the early 90s (almost 9 months), and will probably be allowed to keep the record as the longest holder of the Raw title -- his ego should be satisfied.
2. HHH has NEVER won at Survivor Series (he's 0-7).
3. If Goldberg were to get the title, it would be a huge exception to a general rule that characters developed by other promotions are not granted the big belt (Benoit, Booker T, RVD, Steiner). This is particularly true for wrestlers who have only been in the company six months -- Vince's ego would not be satisfied.

Kane, had he kept the mask, would still be stagnating in RAW's midcard. It was because he lost the mask and changed his persona that he was able to succeed. Both RVD and Booker T are still toiling in the midcard, and I don't think Kane would be any different.
Is it possible for RVD & Booker T to move forward? Maybe, maybe not, but with the way things stand, their careers did suffer after their feuds with HHH. Look at how over Booker T was with Goldust a year ago, and now look at him. He won the IC Title and it didn't matter. RVD is becoming this generation's Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the popular midcard babyface who puts over the heels so they can feud with Hulk Hogan. He could have been more, and used to be.
As for these "spoilers", if they were true (and I don't think they are), surely WWE must remember how well Face HHH worked last time.
And, while 3rd Generation Superstar Rocky Maivia was a failure when he started out, I see no similarities between him and Orton aside from the genealogy. When The Rock started doing the heel schtick, he got over within a few months. Orton has been doing this for over 8 months and he's still where he was at 8 months ago. He still has potential, but he's no Rock.
So Orton gets a huge build-up, going over all the faces, so he can be vanquished by ... Triple H. Hmmm, sounds like a very likely possibility. In the meantime, in order to build up face Triple H, he's going to have to stay strong by beating some heels like ... Kane and Chris Jericho.
And why would Flair go face with Triple H? I'm sure HHH remembers how god awful boring he was as a face and everybody cheers Naitch.
Come on Can any of Us answer this confidently...LOL... Remember Linda Miles just happened to pop up on Raw this week after she had 2 matches on the Smackdown side (velocity v. Ivory, SD teaming with Trish)
