Okay ladies, I'm here, with a bad cold and the ol' cramps, so drop your opinions of last night's Raw here. I didn't see the show, so I'm going by recaps. My verdict: I'm glad I dodged the bomb, HAHAHAHAHA! Seriously ladies, it looked and sounded pretty brutal from an intellectual point of view, but that's not what this thread is about (not entirely). Go ahead...

OK, here goes. Why do you start threads and post opinions about shows you don't even watch?

Ringmistress -- you need you a big ol' dose of Vitamin C!! (Given his outfit last night, all you'd have to do is give Christian a little squeeze & you'd have all you need.) ;-)

Not nearly enough HHH!! It would have been great if he'd come out for the aftershow, along with Jericho & Austin. But, he & Steph probably bailed early to get a nice dinner someplace. Ah, well.

The 3 Heat matches really got me into a good mood right away. Ivory's my favourite among the women, Stevie & Victoria are loads of fun, & I always like Tommy. This was the style of "inter-gender tag" (or is it "mixed tag" -- bad names) where the women & the men can wrestle each other. Ivory & Victoria can do that & make it work. Loads of fun!

Tomboy, weren't you the one commenting favourably on Test's body? Yes, ma'am! Even better in person. Really good back, & for some reason, really-really yummy backs of the thighs. (Go figure.) He was very funny being obnoxious to Stacy. (I'll get bored of that pretty quick, but for now, it worked.)

Val & Rico! Val is so hunky, & Rico's just so entertaining. As he was getting out of the ring, Rico posed for our side of the arena, & gave us his little (OK, not that little!) booty jiggle. He just loves his job! :-)

HHH is just bee-you-tee-ful. I wanted more (I was nowhere near "I can't take it any more territory." Tsk.) but you take what you can get.

Next match was Trish & Gail. This was really good live. I wonder if one of the factors that the women have to overcome is how conditioned the crowd is to the noise of the big bodyslams. Even the bigger women in the 140 pound neighbourhood won't make nearly as impressive a noise slamming into the mat as the 250+ pound guys. Much less the teeny-tiny women.

So I'm on a roll of 4 really good &/or fun matches, plus a HHH talking segment. From that point on, I was in a pretty good position to be forgiving about some of the upcoming crappier segments.

Jindrak's little black trunks are a shiny-shiny vinyl, & quite snug. Suitable fetish-wear, IMO. Mark, you need a little more thigh & a lot more calf though, to balance out your upper body -- let's hit those squats & plantar flexions, baby-kins.

Lance -- funny! Young Roosevelt, the T-shirt guy & Hurricane -- funny!

Rene, live -- yuuuuummmmmm. The Dudleys are much more entertaining live. They really do an excellent job of drawing the crowd into the match with them. (That's just one of those "it" things that's really hard to explain.) Spike is always great getting tossed around. So that was perfectly fun.

Soooo, rolling into the Highlight Reel, we're completely rocking. We were perfectly happy to hang out & "Yea! Boo! Yea!" appropriately, without much concern for the quantity of McMahons piling up in the ring. Jericho's little "Arizona jackrabbits" comment was a riot.

Orton & Maven was fun. The double dropkick was silly but fun, & this was some of the biggest flying through the air that we'd seen yet. Randy of course is awfully pretty to look at, & I like Maven too. I was on Flair's side of the ring, so got that extra Flairness besides.

The whole Bischoff/Coach/Austin would have been a strong potty-break candidate, if it weren't for Christian. He's another one who really interacts with the live crowd, & comes across better than on TV. Once it was Christian & Lawler, you know all I was watching was Christian.

Flashing forward in realtime: 2 hour drive back from Tucson, 3 hour tape delay of the broadcast til 9:00pm. So I get in, flip on the TV, there's Christian who raises his arms to my side of the arena, & you can so hear me scream like a little girl! I believe I was only half-kidding about the sound mixer guy having to work around me. :-)

I specifically tossed out a few solid girlie-screams for Shane match entrance, just for Toast Jr. :-)

Jericho can be so good when he wants to, & he was golden in the aftershow. Christian & Chris were the second half of the show for me.

So, with the running start from the fun Heat matches, you can see where I probably had more fun with the show than those watching at home.

(Oops, gotta run -- got D'Backs tonight. I'm such a busy girl!)

Thank you!

I don't know if it is just me, and my firm belief that Shane can do no wrong, but I thought the end segment Monday night was awesome! Kane popping out of no where and attacking Shane in the parking lot, even after Shane cautiously looks around and then the flaming trash can which Kane ends up in and the bad-ass, cheesy action movie line from Shane at the end....I looooved it! Of course, I also loved when Kane set J.R. on fire, so what do I know? I'm say the more over-the-top, the better!

Actually, overall I thought RAW was pretty good. There was so much bitching on the main bored that I didn't get, but that's what the Internet is for, right? The only thing that bugged me about RAW was Austin. He was totally getting on my nerves.

I love evil Coach! I liked him before as an announcer more than J.R., and I think we've need a true heel announcer for a while.

I also love Lance Storm (purposely) no-selling the midget. I wish we would get more from StormDust.

Ohhhh OK I get it! Wait, no I don't. Please enlighten me.

You already do enough of this elsewhere on the board (and why you don't get called on it there is beyond me) so the least you could do is stop doubling up and posting the same unoriginal and often unfounded opinions here. Maybe I'm alone in this (IMAGINE THAT), but I'd like to think the Ladies Forum would be a place with a little more intelligence.

Why do you feel you need to "start" the conversation anyway? Why not allow someone who actually has something original to say to say it on their own? God knows I won't since it's already been proven that I would just be having a conversation with myself. OK LADIES YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

Hey! Bitchfactor! We haven't heard from you in this forum since ... ooh, mid-May!

1) Interesting that your first post here in 3-1/2 months is to whine at somebody who often does post content here.

2) No-selling Madame Manga's comment as well? Interesting tactic.

3) Second & third instances of the passive-aggressive "Why do you always?" accusatory form. Another intersting choice.

4) Zoom.

In the context of this Forum, I take Ringmistress' starting a thread for a show she hasn't seen (yet), as an expression of interest in the rest of our opinions on it. As a regular poster in this forum, I'm certainly not annoyed or offended by it.

Returning to our regularly scheduled programming ...

Toast Jr: Yeah, Shane peeking around looking for the ambush was cute. And a whole lot more clever than the quys who just run into obvious ambushes. The other thing was that the special effect was well done. The JR one was cheesy, but this looked good.

Austin is a weird phenomenon. I get pretty tired of his gimmick during the show. But the world adores him -- he's about as beloved with the crowds as it gets. And I must admit that he was great in both the after-shows. Whatcha gonna do? Beer me, Steve! :-)

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but I don't post often anywhere ... at all.

I like making interesting choices. Accusatory ones as well. Perhaps you haven't noticed that either.

I'm certainly not annoyed or offended by it.

That's terrific. I support your brave decision!!! Good for you, Emma! See, I call you by your screen name because it's like I know you. We're all girls here, am I right ladies? I suppose I'll just cave in and join you then. That HHH sure is sexy. He can Pedigree me anytime! And by "Pedigree" I mean "stick his penis in my vagina"! I know you're with me! Ladies???

For a second there I thought I was on the main board. I, unfortunately missed the ppv (because the middle of fucking nowhere really doesn't do ppv), and Raw, and most likely Smackdown tonight. I was happy to hear Trips retained, though I was surprised. Seemed like some fun stuff happened but I haven't had time to read through spoilers and such.

Emma (gosh, I do feel like I know you now) I'm glad you had a great time at SS and Raw. And yes, it was me that was into Test's body, but it did have to be in darkness or hooded to fully appreciate it. Sucks there wasn't nearly enough Triple H, but it's all good, you got to see a little and that's always better than nothing...

I need to go change my sig line now...

Is there any actual, substantial point in this spontaneous snipe-fest? If so, it's eluding me.

Not even in dog-years! :-)

(If one declines to enter a year in the birthday field on the profile, the form appears to default to 2000. And, it's probably a good idea to start over counting every so often anyway.)

One Question:

Whatever happened to the Ladies Forum?

I realize that I've never really been a frequent poster, in any forum for that matter, but geez louise, what happened here?

No disrespect the to men who read our little section of the Wienerboard, but I always enjoyed this forum because there was respect and the opinions of our fellow female wrestling fans/smarts/smarks were also respected. That being said...

While I respect the opinion of bitchfactor, I disagree with it. This forum, at times, has gone maybe a full week, if not more, without a new topic. Ringmistress, on more than a few occasions, has actually gotten people who don't frequently post-- to post. (ie, yourself & me). While I think a few of her posts have been over the top, they do get people to talk and get the place buzzing.

As for expecting 'intelligence' in this forum dedicated to a sport where people bash each other over the heads with chairs, cut themselves with razors to bleed convincingly, and win predetermined matches... I think you went a mite too far. I don't watch wrestling for the intellect, but for the fun. and the asses'

Let's not make this forum like the Main board, which in my opinion, is a shadow of it's former self. I think there's too much machismo over there and often, because of the color of your username, women just don't get their respect. Maybe it's because they think we only watch for the men, which is only PARTLY true... Rambling a bit here aren't I?

Let's please just respect each other over here because this is really the only place where we're going to wholeheartedly get it.

Well said, Ticamo. I read but don't often, if at all, bother to post on the main board because it's basically just not worth it. I feel you guys understand where I'm coming from and not the guys. Not that they don't have their good posts (matter of opinion) or their good ideas (also a matter of opinion) but I just can't be bothered with their, well, bullshit, to be frank.

Can't we all just get along?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA
