--------- So TWGTT gets pushed to Velocity? What the hell? Eddie seems like he will be fun to watch again like always. So I guess Eddie is now a face and no longer a tweener.

Eddie's better when he ignores the crowd, just does his thing, and isn't sucking up to them or playing off their cheers. Ugh. Don't they see that he's got Austin potential with this current momentum? Let him run as a cheating heel and not be concerned about the crowd, and see how much bigger he gets.
I'll watch on Thursday, mostly for Eddie and for Lesnar... but I know already I'll cringe a little if I see Eddie sucking up to the crowd in a face kinda way.
Pretty hard for Eddie to get heel heat in his home town. Like Bret in Canada or Austin in Texas. I expect his persona will be back to normal next week.

I don't know about that. Seems like they're pretty set on feuding him with John Cena, a top heel.
LS: You're sure going into the women's locker room will get us on TV? GD: Absolutely! And if it doesn't, I've got Max Mini ready to come out of retirement. HE'LL get us on Raw! Nothing spells ratings like MIDGETS!
SD is pre-empted in Philly, too. Airs Saturday @ 10:00 PM.
Anyway, looks like a good show. However...
Undertaker pinned Lesnar with the last ride
Big Show is right there, why couldn't Taker pin Show? You spent the better part of the last few weeks building up Lesnar as an unstoppable monster, and then have him tap out to Angle, then get pinned clean by Taker? WTF?
Glad at hear they're at least *open* to seeing the possibilities of a face Eddie Guerrero. But if this a permanent face turn, it may be a bit too soon....
King Kong Bundy to return? Montreal screwjob really just a work? None of these questions, plus more, in the latest Inside The Ropes!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ The official Online Onslaught Inside The Ropes archive!!!

Instead of complaining on the face heat Eddie got on one night in his hometown, why not appreciate the fact that we got a fued with two charismatic performers.
Couple other things: 1) Where's Matt Hardy? 2) What's up w/ Rey & Kidman? Where's the Kidman heel turn? 3) Why are Haas/Benjamin on Velocity? Why are they messing around w/ APA? Are they done w/ Rey/Kidman, and if so, why didn't they use that opportunity for the Kidman heel turn? 4) No Jamie Knoble = sadness 5) Taker better tap next week. Taker shouldn't make Angle look like a punk, only picking up the win through luck or interference (see, Taker "putting over" Cena).
"WWE.com has an article online talking about Matt Hardy, who suffered a concussion last week during the Smackdown tapings when Rey Mysterio Jr. gave him a West Coast Pop and drove him headfirst into the mat. Hardy did not wrestle on last night's Smackdown taping as a result (he did accompany Shannon Moore for his Velocity match), but is expected back in action this weekend. The article features quotes from Hardy, and talks about other concussions he has suffered in his career."

I guess Brock Lesnar is "paying his dues" now with all these jobs. He won't be special at all anymore, he'll just be like everybody else.
No Vince, and Stephanie in just ONE segment is just what I need after the McMahon filled RAW.
I think it will wind up that it was CHAVO who sabotaged the lowrider. The next Smackdown PPV isn't until October so a mini-feud between them on TV could really cement Chavo as a singles player. It worked for Owen when he feuded with Bret.
I always get a bad feeling when Angle is going to be wrestling The Undertaker but we'll worry about that next week.

Who said I don't appreciate a Cena/Eddie feud? I've been looking forward to this feud since a backstage segment last year when Eddie/Chavo (both heels) had a run-in with Cena/B-Squared. I just think they could do all this in his hometown (or anywhere else for that matter) without the sucking up. Doesn't matter if it's his hometown or not - the fans LOVE this guy right now and he doesn't NEED to suck up to get their cheers. But I'm hoping that it's happening this week only because it's his hometown.
Guys like Christian and Lance Storm are booed in Canada more than they're cheered because they don't play to the crowd. Eddie will get cheered no matter what he does.
It's my own opinion that sucking up to the fans makes Eddie look weaker, character-wise. So instead of nitpicking my opinion which I am entitled to have, why not appreciate that this is at least one fan who was actually liking how WWE was booking one of their wrestlers until they jumped the gun a little early. Eddie is one of the highlights each week in WWE's television.

I hope they turn out to be good matches if their are only four. Eddie seems like he will be the star of the show and that alone makes me happy.

Is it short because it's the 90 minute Smackdown this week because of UPN premiering "The Mullets"? Or is that next week?
"Seattle takes Luke Ridnour to go with Collison ... they're stockpiling white guys to go clubbing with Brent Barry." ESPN.com's Bill Simmons from his 2003 NBA draft diary.
Who in the blue fuck did Haas and/or Benjamin piss off? THE best tag team in the entire effing company (RAW *or* Smackdown!), and they're competing on the dead air that is Velocity.
Keep Eddie as the tweener heel, he is just so great at it. There is no need to tweak or change his persona, IMHO it ain't broke, so don't F*ck with it!
Yeah who did Haas and Benjamin piss off? La Resistance gets more TV time than they do ... what a travesty ... I personally wish they were still with Kurt, but I understand that had ran its course.
And Sean O'Haire can't even get a dark match now?
www.deargodwrestling.com ... putting the "DEAR GOD" back into wrestling ..
Speaking of dark matches, it's nice to know that WWE spent so much time hyping the hell out of Ultimo Dragon just to have him wrestling said dark matches every week.

I believe I saw a few ads for him doing appearances. But since he's from here, I guess it probably doesn't count... "Hey Test, can you go across the block from your house and hang out at the Walmart for awhile? Thanks!"
