Just as a quick PSA for anyone who didn't know, Inuyasha returns to cartoon network tonight at 12am EST with all new episodes!!
'But if one is struck by me only a little, that is far different, the stroke is a sharp thing and suddenly lays him lifeless, and that man's wife goes with cheeks torn in lamentation, and his children are fatherless, while he, staining the soil with his red blood, rots away, and there are more birds than women swarming about him.' Diomedes, The Iliad of Homer
I really do enjoy this show and the English voice acting is really solid, but once again it proves the perversion of the Japanese culture. I mean look at this show, every other episode Kagome has to strip naked and jump into a hotspring then prance around in her school girl outfit with a skirt that I doubt any school would allow. Did I forget to mention that she's only FIFTEEN? What's more is that Inuyasha was created by a female...interesting...

Are you familiar with what Japanese schoolgirls generally wear?
Of course, it's not as if Catholic schoolgirls in America are known for conservative attire, either. I always wondered about that... the purpose of school uniforms is to maintain uniformity and not allow provocative clothes to become distractions, but the end result is teenage girls in short skirts that show plenty of bare thigh. Um, what?

Um, I'm a little confused. Is that a complement or a condemnation? Because I would have to say, definitely the former
Kagome = RATINGS

It's not really a condemnation. Sometimes, its just the vast amount of "ecchi" as it were in anime like this kind of bothers me. I enjoy the show, but then I feel bad when I see all the perverted antics...sometimes I think its sort of disturbing.
IMHO, after a while I grow tiresome of the same routine of Kagome or Sango "bathing" or stripping then having to smack someone for trying to peak at them or cop a feel, its gotten old. At least Sesshomaru is a gentleman and has manners, Inuyasha and Miroku could learn a couple of things from him.

Indeed
I am estatic for more Inuyasha tonight. My nights just weren't the same without Inuyasha right before I go to bed. Maybe that's the reason I've been having trouble sleeping. But anyways, I'll be watching tonight.
I am soooooooo irritated that Koga got to live. Ok people HE KILLED WOMAN AND CHILDREN.... no redemption for him. I tune in expecting to see him get what the Bird of Paradise got and they just LET HIM GO?
Three days ago Standly:Ready for new episodes huh? J:Yeah but Koga better get his balls torn off and shoved down his throat.
I actually kind of like Koga. Of course, I've always had a soft spot for the evil guys (or is he?) when it comes to cartoon characters. Of course, he isn't nearly as cool as Sesshoumaru...
Ah, you've gotta love irony. This is pretty much my favorite show right now, and I posted the thread for anyone who didn't know about the new episodes. Then what do I do? Completely forget to tape it. What a slapnuts.
